Participant 1 -Roadworks coming down of McIntyre Road -End of Mc – puppy. Fluffy. Reminds of my dog -Can hear – roadworks and traffic -Little shop opposite doctors road has always been shut. I’ve never seen it open -Lots of student houses next to Brewers. Littered with rubbish. Not a nice atmosphere - Papa Johns, nearly hit by a car. Driver not paying attention to the road/pedestrians -Walked through cripplegate to get away from the noise of the traffic for a bit -Stone bridge. Really noisy because you’re beside the road. But this bridge offers safety over Sabrina. -Walked down by the river on the way to the cathedral as it’s usually flooded so taking the notion -Swans danger. Wary -The fountains rarely ever switched on -Strong sense of family down by the river, which is nice to see as the parents and children are all feeding the swans together -It’s interesting that Worcester has documented the flood levels each year -inside the gentle murmuring of people is pleasant and relaxing. There’s a multitude of people attracted to the cathedral including an artist painting the inside on a canvas. Participant 2 No picture available. Walk from Washington Road to Baskerville. Usual route. -Stopped at the shop to ask for the time and to buy some rolling papers -The singing from the church is peaceful, the choir and echo of voices can be heard from outside, perfect environment to roll a cigarette -Walked past my old halls, now a derelict building. Smell the swimming baths behind. I remember when we were all evacuated because the building was deemed unsafe. Evokes a lot of memories from the first year of uni -Trees on Shrubbery Avenue add to the environmental impact, bring the countryside more forcefully into the city. Improve upon the area Participant 3 -Cementary makes me feel uneasy. I can smell grass. I’m 22 and I’m the only one alive who went to my parents wedding -Clouds turning grey, conscious of the weather -Graffiti along the walls makes the area look a lot more lower class. Especially as it’s next to a building site -Smell the trees. Peaceful -Coming out into the estate, cars, people, preferred the nature side of the walk -More construction work. It’s a bit of a downer (next to Dines Green Youth Centre) -Why is there an abandoned junk car in somebodies garden? Fucking Dines Green

Participant 1-Roadworks coming down of McIntyre Road-End of Mc – puppy. Fluffy. Reminds of my dog-Can hear – roadworks and traffic-Little shop opposite doctors road has always been shut. I’ve never seen it open-Lots of student houses next to Brewers. Littered with rubbish. Not a nice atmosphere- Papa Johns, nearly hit by a car. Driver not paying attention to the road/pedestrians-Walked through cripplegate to get away from the noise of the traffic for a bit-Stone bridge. Really noisy because you’re beside the road. But this bridge offers safety over Sabrina. -Walked down by the river on the way to the cathedral as it’s usually flooded so taking the notion-Swans danger. Wary-The fountains rarely ever switched on-Strong sense of family down by the river, which is nice to see as the parents and children are all feeding the swans together-It’s interesting that Worcester has documented the flood levels each year-inside the gentle murmuring of people is pleasant and relaxing. There’s a multitude of people attracted to the cathedral including an artist painting the inside on a canvas.

Participant 2No picture available. Walk from Washington Road to Baskerville. Usual route.-Stopped at the shop to ask for the time and to buy some rolling papers-The singing from the church is peaceful, the choir and echo of voices can be heard from outside, perfect environment to roll a cigarette-Walked past my old halls, now a derelict building. Smell the swimming baths behind. I remember when we were all evacuated because the building was deemed unsafe. Evokes a lot of memories from the first year of uni-Trees on Shrubbery Avenue add to the environmental impact, bring the countryside more forcefully into the city. Improve upon the area

Participant 3-Cementary makes me feel uneasy. I can smell grass. I’m 22 and I’m the only one alive who went to my parents wedding-Clouds turning grey, conscious of the weather -Graffiti along the walls makes the area look a lot more lower class. Especially as it’s next to a building site-Smell the trees. Peaceful-Coming out into the estate, cars, people, preferred the nature side of the walk-More construction work. It’s a bit of a downer (next to Dines Green Youth Centre)-Why is there an abandoned junk car in somebodies garden? Fucking Dines Green-I’d love a garden as big as some of these in the futer-I’ve sat at the skatepark high before and everything felt right with the world. But I don’t want to go there now. There’s far too many people up there-A local resident came out and prevented us from mistakenly crossing a bog as it was very muddy. Very Helpful.

Participant 4-The road’s very busy at the bullring roundabout-I love the smell after the rain!-I like the bridge and the addition of the locks as it’s very reminiscent of what they’re doing with success in Paris. As long as people don’t damage the environment then spontaneity is a good thing.-I like to sit on one of the benches by the river often because it’s relaxed. I can hear the birds and watch the river flow and forget I’m in a city. -I like to come on bike rides down here and ride around the racecourse a few times just to be outside. It’s a nicer route than cycling on the street-Smells Neutral-I try to whistle to the birds so that they whistle back to me when it’s quiet

Participant 5 – same image as above-Having a macdonalds, the pavilion and the rest of the retail park (amenities) makes up for the noise of the traffic. -I find the river very relaxing to watch and I like how you can see a lot of Worcester from Sabrina Bridge. -The train bridge is an eyesore and spoils the view.-I came this way after a night on the town once, I either wanted a quitter walk home with less people or I thought I still lived at my old house on Buck Street

Participant 6-There’s no light pollution here so you can see a lot of the stars out in the country that would normally be hidden by the city-I saw my first shooting star here-It smells like cow manure here and reminds me of the smells that used to waft into my school from the farms down the road-I like the secluditiy of the walk down here, there’s barely any people. You could almost be the only people alive-The houses down here are massive, some serious cash hidden away as property-Model train tracks hidden away by the side of the road, very spooky. I’ve never seen anything like them before-I used to come down here to distress during the summer when my housemates were annoying me too much

-I learned how to skateboard on this stretch of pavement as a break away from uni work. I felt like a child and my friend said he felt like an anxious father as he watched me

Participant 7 – Same image as above-I’m tired after work and my legs are hurting

-Is that a park? Is there a swing??-Can we get lost? Is that allowed? We always come this way, I’d quite like to see something different-Eugh, I can smell shit-Mate, it’s fucking cold
