DUDLEY CASTLE ART COMPEITION CONTINUED

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DUDLEY CASTLE Did you know that Dudley Castle is

celebrating its 950th birthday this year? The castle was originally built in the year 1070 just a few years after the

Norman Conquest in 1066. It survived until 1750 when a 3- day long fire

destroyed the castle and left us with the ruin that we have today. Dudley

Castle is a huge part of our local history
