The Joint Apprenticeship Training Trust has been hosting a Blood Drive at the Main Campus. The involvement has been tremendous. To date in 4 of the 6 days set aside for this we have collected 93 pints of blood. The Red Cross says for every pint collected we touch 3 families, so we have helped 279 families. We have additional dates of June 5th and 6th left in this drive. Please feel free to come out those dates 7 a.m. to 12 noon and do your part to help.

As a reminder that the Braze Continuity is scheduled for June 30th (Saturday) begins at 8 a.m. at the main campus. Contractor Representative will be on site.
I would like to personally extend my best wishes to Nate Merritt and Phillip Norris as they travel to New Orleans Local 60 on June 5th through June 8th to compete in the District 3 Apprenticeship Contest. I know they will represent and do their best.
On May 19th we were fortunate enough to present the families of Lavon Bates and Jerry Stephens flags from the JATT. We had the families out to the main campus and dedicated the flag area with the help of some of the Instructors, Apprentices, Local Brothers and Sisters. We presented Janice Stephens, Jerry’s wife, with a flag and Brittany Bates, Lavon’s daughter, with a flag as well. We also unveiled a plaque in honor of these two brothers/instructors that lost their lives this school year. We will forever miss these two men and their impressions on our lives.
