Our senior shooting sports members will be competing at their state event at the NRA Whittington Center near Raton the first week of May. The top competitors will move on to the NW District Shooting Sports contests to be held in Albuquerque on June 21, the day after Northern District General Contests in Moriarty June 19 and 20.

Graduating high school seniors, who are current 4-H members, are encouraged to apply for our San Juan County Bill Nye Memorial 4-H scholarship. Two recipients will each receive a $500 scholarship. The application can be found on our county website and will be mailed directly to high school seniors.

The 4-H Hoofbeat Gang will be hosting a Horse Camp May 28 and 29 at McGee Park.
