TRANSCRIPT
To whom it may concern:
This is a reference letter for John Gates.
John Gates worked with us at Web International English, Bagou from July 1, 2013 to July 30, 2014. During
this time he taught well over 1000 classes with 1 to 40 students per class at ages ranging from 15 to 50.
John has been very professional while teaching here with us. He always dresses nicely and keeps a good
attitude with the rest of our team. He usually comes to work 30 minutes early to make special preparations
for all of his classes and keeps notes for each one. He has been a great help to our tutors when they have
questions and is open to helping students when they need help outside of the classroom.
Every teacher in our center is required to teach by our standard with a series of lesson plans that range from
Threshold courses, that teach the very basics such as color and food, to Advanced, where students are
expected to have intellectual conversations between each other and our teachers alike. John admittedly
enjoys taking these lessons to the next level, drawing great representations on the white board, exploring
pronunciation, intonation, and inflection, and even using exaggerated body language to make sure everyone
understands.
We have enjoyed John's contributions here at Web. Both our team and our students will miss the energy he
brought to this center. We have learned a lot together about language and culture and we hope John excels
