The City of Becker, MN is accepting applications for the position of WastewaterTreatment Facility Operator. This is a union position supervised by the Wastewater Treat-ment Facility Lead Operator and / or the Public Works Director. This position performsa variety of skilled and semi-skilled technical and maintenance work in the operation,maintenance and repair of the wastewater and water treatment facilities and systems.
Minimum requirements include: Class D wastewater license with two years ex-perience in a Class C treatment facility; high school diploma or equivalent; valid StateDrivers license with CDL endorsement or the ability to obtain one. Desirable Trainingand Experience include: Class C or above Wastewater Operator License; two years ofcollege or technical training in biology, environmental science, chemistry or closely re-lated field; four years experience in a wastewater facility.
