SALE TERMS The highest bidder is to be the buyer. If any dispute arises between two bidders, sole authority to settle the dispute as he sees fit is reserved by the auctioneer, and his decision shall be final. The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Terms of the sale are cash. Personal checks are considered cash. All foreign buyers must pay in U.S. funds. Visa and Mastercard accepted. All credit purchases are assessed a 5% handling fee. Absentees and phone bids are welcome, but be aware that if purchases are made by this method, payment MUST be wired the next business day. We strongly urge buyers to thoroughly examine the horses that interest them. All sales are absolute and final. If a problem arises a credit only will be given at next year’s horse sale. Horses are at the buyer’s expense, risk, and responsibility from the time of purchase. No delivery will be made until a final settlement has been made. The buyer must make arrangements for the care of his horse if it is not taken on sale day. All horses are registered with the American Quarter Horse Association. Registration papers and transfers will be mailed directly to the AQHA office when payment of the horse is complete. A $15.00 transfer fee will be paid by the buyer. If the buyer is not an AQHA member, a $35.00 membership fee will be paid by the buyer as well. Health certificates will be issued for transportation purposes sale day by Chinook Veterinary Clinic within the United States. All Canadian buyers will need to get Federal Vet Stamp for purchased horses on Monday following sale. All horses will be Coggins tested, current on worming and vaccinations. Broodmares have been pasture exposed and are presumed to be in foal. Mare will be preg-tested with expected due dates posted at the sale. There is no live foal guarantee. Every effort has been made to ensure accuracy of the catalog, but sellers assume no responsibility for errors or omissions. Announced changes in catalog on sale day take precedence over printed material in this catalog. All persons attending the sale do so at their own risk. The Weaver family has a long tradition of raising horses. The family came to Montana in 1888 and have been breeding and raising horses for 127 years. Our brand, , was recorded in the Weaver name in 1888 and our grandchildren are the sixth generation to ride horses with this brand. We feel very fortunate to be a part of a business that we love so much. We take great pride in our broodmares and the colts they produce for you, the buying public. We try to raise a horse that is versatile enough for any job you have for him or her. All of the weanlings will be halter broke and registered with the AQHA. All of our horses are eligible for the AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge. All Weaver Quarter Horse weanlings will have their weanling nomination fees paid to AQHA for the Challenge. GENUINELY BUSY is a really well-muscled, good looking son of TUF N BUSY. He is that pretty golden buckskin color. We purchased GENUINELY BUSY from Terri White and she was also the owner of TUF N BUSY. This was the colt she kept to replace TUF N BUSY, and we feel very fortunate to be able to own a horse of this caliber. It just doesn’t get any better - not only does he have a great cow horse pedigree, he also has the color, looks and ability to back it up. GENUINELY BUSY has a great cow horse pedigree. An own son of TUF N BUSY and TUF N BUSY’S offspring have won over 3,740 AQHA points, 27 ROM winners, mostly in roping events; and he has sired 46 point earners out of 236 foals sired. Plus, they have won at all levels of roping from Amateur to PRCA with earnings in NCHA, NRHA and NRCHA. GENUINE LEIGH WRIGHT is an outstanding calf roping horse and is currently being hauled in the PRCA. She is an own daughter of LENA’S WRIGHT ON. He has a LTE of $109,995 and won

the NRHA futurity as a three-year-old and was an AQHA World Champion Working Cow Horse as a five-year-old. He is the sire of NRHA and NRCHA money earners as well as an AQHA Champion. This is our third crop by GENUINELY BUSY. We are extremely proud of how the two-year-olds are breaking out. They have the minds and attitudes that we all like to see. I couldn’t be happier with “Ricky.” He sires colts that have the looks, color and ability we had hoped for. We know you will like his colts.

IMA TUF LENA is a buckskin stallion who has really proven himself as a sire for us. He is well built, stands 14.3 hands and weighs 1000 pounds. “Tuf” has an exceptional hip and a kind, gentle disposition. He possesses great bone and has strong dark feet. TUF N BUSY, an own son of BUENO CHEX, has been to the World Show several times. He was fourth in Senior Heeling. He has his Superior in reining, heading and heeling. TUF N BUSY has sired five world champions. Four in the youth division - two in heading and two in heeling. In 2001, he sired the World Champion Junior Heeling Horses at the AQHA World Show. Tuf was not shown due to an injury, but when he was ridden and in training he showed great promises. He is extremely athletic, quick to learn and these are traits he has passed on to his offspring. Tuf was in training with JD Yates of Pueblo, CO. His father, Dick Yates, was quoted as saying, “We were sorry to lose that colt as a prospect, he had a lot of talent” - a strong statement for as many good horses as these guys have been around.

JD Yates showed a daughter of Tuf in 2009, IMA TUF MISSY. IMA TUF MISSY was the AQHA High Point Junior Horse with 388 points in seven events. She qualified for the World Show in five events, and won Reserve World Champion Head Horse. In 2010 she received her ROM in Performance Halter. In 2011 she won the Congress in Ohio, and at the 2012 Sun Circuit in Arizona she was the high point all around horse and won over 80 points and a saddle. She has over 580 total AQHA points. She was the 2012 Reserve World Champion Head Horse. She also became an AQHA Champion this past year. We have two full sisters coming up for the broodmare band. PRCA Team Roping Heeler Cesar de la Cruz is riding a Tuf son. The Tuf colts are making great minded ride horses with a lot of athleticism and cow. Tuf ’s daughters are in production and proving themselves to be exceptional mothers. Tuf has become a popular sire for us as we have as many repeat buyers for his colts as any stallion we own. Three times his weanlings have topped the sale. We are glad people are enjoying his offspring.

GEMS AND STARLIGHT is a really well-made, good-hipped son of GRAYS STARLIGHT. “Starlight” received a lot of training, but because of an ownership dispute he was never shown. He is smooth to ride, very athletic and extremely cowy. He is a lot of fun to ride. When Casey rode Starlight on the ranch he said “he rode like a cadillac.” Although Starlight was never shown, his full sister STARLIGHT GEM was shown very successfully in cutting. She won $231,786 and was the 1996 Open NCHA Non-Pro Super Stakes Champion. She was 3rd in the 1995 NCHA Non-Pro Cutting Futurity. GEMS EMERALD is the mother of eight performers with winnings in excess of $319,000. She herself won over $10,000 in cutting. This is a good, solid set of Starlight colts with a lot of color. Many of the mares are money earners so these colts will perform. Starlight’s colts show a lot of style, have nice heads, good muscling throughout and have that pretty Starlight look. Plus they have the mind that we are all looking for. We ride several Starlight colts and they are smart, cowy and easy to be around. We are extremely proud of the GEMS AND STARLIGHT colts, they truly represent the type of horse we like to raise.

A really pretty palomino stud that we leased from John Lopez of South Dakota. We were fortunate enough to purchase this horse this past spring, so we will have colts for many more years. This horse brings a very unique pedigree with him. He is an own son of FRENCHMAN’S GUY, a leading barrel horse sire in the nation, with winnings over 5.5 million dollars. FRENCHMAN’S GUY’s offspring are being ridden at all levels from High School Rodeo to the National Finals Rodeo. FRENCHMAN’S GUY’S colts are proven winners. But it is this stallion’s mother that brings the uniqueness to this pedigree. She is a double bred Orphan Drift mare through probably his greatest daughter, COW LADY DRIFT. COW LADY DRIFT was the earner of 44 AQHA points, and was 6th at the World Show in Senior Reining and 5th at the AQHA World Show in Senior Working Cow Horse. However, her production as a broodmare was the most impressive. COW LADY DRIFT produced fourteen foals. Nine of them were AQHA point earners, and four were AQHA Open Champions. Her offspring had a total of 533.5 AQHA points, and that is an impressive record. “Cowboy’s” colts are extremely well-minded and trainable, those who are riding his colts are all very pleased with them. These “Cowboy” colts will have the mind and performance to take you to any level you want to go. I kept several fillies last year and look forward to riding and breeding them.

Merada Ima Boonsmal MERADA IMA BOONSMAL is a pretty bay roan horse with no white markings. He has good withers, bone and a nice little head. He is a super athletic son of PEPTOBOONSMAL. MERADA SITE is an own daughter of FRECKLES MERADA, and she has a LTE of $17,700. This is definitely a cow horse pedigree that has enhanced our program. “Boonsmal” was trained and shown by Gary Bellenfant and he made the finals at the PCCHA Futurity in California in 2002. He ended up 9th out of 325 horses. David and I have shown him throughout his career and he has a LTE of $14,510. We couldn’t be more proud of “Boonsmal.” We have seen his colts well received by the buying public in the last few years. Three times his colts have topped our sale. Boonsmal sires colts with a lot of bone, great hips and that nice little Merada head. We also are seeing a lot of color out of him, and this just adds to the package. “Boonsmal” sired the third place Amateur Horse at the NRCHA World Futurity in Reno, NV in 2009. Another colt of his was second in the Breakaway Roping at the State High school Finals in Texas in 2012. MERADA IMA BOONSMAL was listed by Equi-Stat as the 21st sire in the Nation in Junior Reined Cowhorse sires with offspring earnings of $24,259. We have ridden several “Boonsmal” offspring on the ranch and they are level-headed horses with lots of cow. They are easy to be around and work hard.

Fairway Gal and Find A Buyer were two of the King Ranch’s most famous Thoroughbred mares. Add Dash for Cash and Peppy San Badger - both inductees into the AQHA Hall of Fame - and you have a tremendous pedigree. BOSTON BOB was the sire to several Badland Circuit Horses of the Year. The BOON DOX JOHNS are proven rodeo horses and STELLA FROST may have been DOC’S JACK FROST greatest broodmare daughter.

DEAR FRIENDS: We would all like to welcome you to our 20th Annual Production Sale. It is hard to believe it has been that long since we started. I still remember planning the first sale like it was yesterday. With that we are so glad that you are here and really appreciate your interest in our horses, and your continued patronage over the years. 2015 marks the 127th year the Weaver family has been raising horses in Montana. KellyAnne and Casey continue to raise their family in Lewistown, and run cattle on the side. KellyAnne is the Director of the Library and Casey manages a ranch. They both enjoy their jobs and are entering a time when running after kid’s sports and activities is upon them. Wyatt (12) helps out a great deal on the ranch and truly loves the lifestyle. Avery (10) continues to be our little socializer and likes spending time with friends and her dogs. David lives in Big Sandy. He also runs cattle and helps out on the ranch. Hailey (11) once again spent the summer helping her Dad. Daniel continues to be the farmer of the crew, and has both a haying and wheat operation. He had the opportunity to travel to China in January as part of the REAL Montana Leadership program sponsored through the Montana State University. In March at the American Quarter Horse Convention in Fort Worth, TX, I was elected to the AQHA Executive Committee. It is a five-member board that oversees the AQHA operation. It requires some travel and time, but I have really enjoyed it. This opportunity has been a big learning curve, and I have met and worked with some wonderful horse men and women. AQHA is a very large business with 257, 000 members world wide (82 countries are represented) so I think the horse industry is looking at a bright future as we have become more of a world market. I look forward to working and helping the AQHA over the next five years. I am also active in the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center. Nancy continues to be very active in the community and serves on the Central Montana Medical Center Advisory Board and is Chairman of the Montana Cowboy Poetry Gathering and Western Music Rendezvous. She is also on the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center Board of Trustees. She has traveled with me to many conferences for the AQHA. I look forward to visiting with old friends and new at this year’s sale. I really enjoy hearing from customers about their horses – it is my favorite part of this business.
