"We Remember"

USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Family and MWR would like to take a moment to reflect and remember.

The attacks of September 11, 2001 reshaped the face of the nation and the course of history.

The date, September 11, will forever evoke recollections of unimaginable tragedy, of lives

callously lost and brutally cut short and of unspeakable horror and sorrow in the hearts and

minds of all of us. We must never forget the depths of inhumanity to which terrorist sought to

destroy the very principles of freedom and democracy on which our great nation was founded.

To commemorate, USAG Rheinland-Pfalz Family and MWR would like to offer various

specials throughout the day of September 11, 2014, to include:

All active duty Department of Emergency Services Soldiers will receive a free coffee at

any Java Café within the Kaiserslautern and Baumholder communities.

All active duty military will receive 50% off one car wash at the Pulaski Automotive

Skills Center and the Landstuhl Automotive Skills Center.

All active duty military will receive a 50% discount on any burger, sandwich or

combo meal at the Strikers Bowling Center snack bar in Baumholder.

Participants who wish to receive the promotional discounts must either present a valid Active

Duty Military ID Card or be in uniform.

Offer is ONLY valid on September 11, 2014 during normal operating hours of the participating

locations.
