Hi 4-H Members, Families and Leaders,

You will notice that we have new Steps to Success that is going into effect July 1, 2015. These steps are to help define and make the policies the same through out the State. We had a Leader’s Roundtable that took place on May 30 to discuss how they would affect our county.

A reminder to all youth members, and adults whether you are a parent/guardian or volunteer you agreed to a code of conduct when you enrolled in 4-H. Fair can be an exhausting and emotional time for everyone. So please keep in mind as we near fair, remember what you agreed too, you have the responsibility of representing all of 4-H to the public.

Our 4-H year is coming to an end and I want to say thank you for all the time and talent that everyone has put into this year. Members you have attended meetings, participated in events, met new people and learned new things, all while striving to do your best and be your best. Parents/Guardians thank you for getting members to meetings and events and supporting them behind the scenes in their efforts. To the leaders, all volunteers who are a part of 4-H because of you we want to thank you for the countless hours and often thankless hours for the youth in our community.

Welcome Caitlin Breck & Josiah Gilardone, our new 2015-2016 4-H All Stars and Kim Densmore as our new Adult Leadership key leader. A BIG thank you to Mary Thieleke Jackson for her dedication and commitment to the 4-H program as Management Board Chairman.

Thank you,

Janelle Hansen4-H Program [email protected]
