Since May 2007 Frank Urban, an electrical

engineer, has been Managing Director of the

Planungsgesellschaft PKA Karnasch. Prior to

this assignment he was project manager for

SCHNABEL AG in Hannover for ten years.

PKA – The Company

For almost 50 years, planning consultants PKA Karnasch have been operating as independent designers in the field of building services. That means nearly 50 years of experience and know-how in a wide variety of sectors.Our portfolio includes the delivery of complete building services packages for major projects as well as the drafting of expert‘s reports.

This includes feasibility studies for renewable energy applications and cost evaluation stu-dies.

PKA operates worldwide. This is reflected in

our list of references with projects in Germany,

Europe, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Korea

and Indonesia. Our most major project to date

is Jeddah Airport in Saudi Arabia. Probably the

most famous one has been the conversion of

the former Reichstag building in Berlin where

the German Bundestag is now located. In bet-

ween these we have completed a wide range of

projects in all sectors.
