COMMON GUTTERING INSTALLATION FAULTS Common faults are:
• not enough down pipes
• Using the fascia rather than string lining to confirm the falls
• Incorrect installation will cause damage to eaves, walls, ceiling, interiors, and may even undermine foundations
• Over 90% of Guttering that does not comply with Australian Standards
Gutter Profiles • Gutter, down pipes are very important assets on any home roof areas.
• There are a wide range of profiles and colours available to suite anyone’s creativity.
• Joe Haffer Roofing has provided custom made gutter profiles to compliment architectural designs for Chase Crown Architects and Medallion Homes.
• Unfortunately most gutters don’t comply with Australian Standard. We at Joe Haffer Roofing ensure that your new gutters comply with Australian Standards.
• In our experience Colorbond® lasts twice as long as Zincalume® in gutter application. The gutters will be installed with sufficient fall to guarantee maximum life expectancy provided the setup of the fascias permit this.
• The Half Round is a European Style gutter with a semi circular design that is supported by external brackets.
• The Half Line Gutter is a similar profile gutter with internal brackets.
• With a 150mm diameter it has a greater water capacity and the speed of the water travel is greater than a conventional gutter allowing to clear debris and silt.
• The great advantage of the Half Line is that they self cleaning due to their smooth shape promoting the swirling action of the water.
• The halfline gutter profile is our favorite shape. Halfline gutters give your home a modern look, carry more water than standard gutters and have self cleaning capacity. The slotted profile also alleviates water in the gutter so that it drains out smootly and does not backflow into the eaves while still concealing the end of the roofing material.

Gutter Profiles
• Square Line gutter is a square front gutter that is also available with slots
• Is fixed with concealed brackets
• Ideal for garages and carports hiding the end of roof sheets
Gutter Profiles
• 125D and 115D or Quad gutter are very adaptable styles of guttering. They blend perfectly with older style colonial and cottage style homes.
• Quad gutters are also used extensively in new homes
• These are also available slotted.
Gutter Profiles
• The OG Gutter is an attractive gutter which is often seen on Victorian, Federation and older style buildings.
• These are also available slotted.
Gutter Profiles
• Rain heads are an essential design element where internal box gutters are used
• A Rain head is located between the gutter and down pipe to aid the flow of water down the down pipe
• The outside positioning of rain heads means that they minimise the risk of water overflow inside the building.
