MaHale Hall

*McHale Hall is a traditional standard double room residence that houses first year students.

It is co-ed by floor / wing and is equipped with air conditioning and elevator access.

*The ground floor houses twenty seven residents, as well as the popular Fireside

Lounge. Fireside was designed and built as a place of recreation and retreat for the

residents. It houses a full kitchen, bathrooms for men and women, a flat screen television,

full size ping pong table, couches, chairs, and tables. The lounge also serves as a special place for student gatherings and Residence

Life programming.

*Each of the upper three floors holds both men and women with separate community bathrooms. Small study rooms and washers and dryers are available on each floor. The

rooms are equipped with large closets, desks and dressers. Individual sinks are also located in all of the rooms on the second, third and fourth floors. Cable and internet access are

available in each room.

Campus Safety is available 24/7 to

keep you safe and respond to any

emergency situation. There are

also Residence Life staff members

always available to assist you with

any problems that may come up. All

residence hall and campus housing

access is carefully controlled

ensuring you are safe at all times.

SHINE on campus through

involvement in student clubs,

organizations, activities, athletics, and

volunteer opportunities. Living on

campus allows you to conveniently

attend evening meetings, programs,

and practices. No need to worry about

driving back to campus after you’re

finished with classes for the day.

**The University has determined that in the best interests of the students, the institution and the community that all traditional

entering first-year students whose permanent residence is further than a 40 mile radius of the University are required to live in campus housing for a minimum of 2 academic years (4 academic semesters).

*Alumnae Hall is a traditional co-ed standard double room residence that houses first year and

upper class students. Standing three floors, Alumnae is connected to McGowan Hall where

students share modern recreational lounges, study areas and a full kitchen facility.

*Equipped with air conditioning and elevator access with washers and dryers located in the

basement.

*Rooms are equipped with individual sinks, closets, dressers, desks, chairs, and beds. Cable and internet access are available in each room.

* Alumnae and McGowan Halls are home to the Writing Center, Tutoring Center, CAPS Center, and Student Success Center right down in their

EDUCATE worry free. Living off-campus seems like a good option but, when you start to look at everything such as rent, deposits, water, electric, cable,

internet, phone service, furniture, food, gym membership etc. Those costs don’t include the driving, gas, purchasing food, etc. Is it really worth all the hassle and

disconnection just to "save” a few dollars?

*Residence is a modern double room facility for upper class students.

Second and fourth floors contain recreational lounges equipped with a full size kitchen, couches, chairs,

tables, a flat screen television, and a beautiful view of the center of campus.

*Furnished study areas are also located on each floor. Each lounge is equipped with wireless internet access.

*Bedrooms are a standard double room with a private full bathroom, shared with the bedroom next door. Each bedroom is equipped with wardrobes, desks, dressers,

beds, and a sink. Cable and internet access are available in each room.

*McGowan Hall houses R.E.A.C.H. which is our special interest housing focusing on substance-free

living as well as student wellness.McGowan Hall

*Gildea Hall offers suites, co-ed by unit, holding three, six, or seven occupants. It is a modern facility equipped with air conditioning and

elevator access.

*Each suite contains a full bath, a common room, and several bedrooms with loftable

furniture. Bedrooms are designed as singles, doubles, or quadruples. Each bedroom is

equipped with cable and internet access, desks, wardrobe closets, and dressers.

*Each of the four floors has a small lounge where students can gather for study or recreation.

All lounges are equipped with a flat screen television and the third floor lounge offers a ping pong table. Directly across from the lounges is a community kitchenette. Washers are dryers are

MacDowell Hall

*MacDowell Hall is a three-story structure near the North Gate of campus and across the parking lot from the Anderson Sports and Health Center.

*MacDowell Hall offers 118 beds for student housing and three academic classrooms. It also provides suite-style residence space with kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms, and appliances.

*MacDowell houses three classrooms used by each major on campus which could possibly work in your favor if you were a resident in this building.

*The second and third floors have a full lounge equipped with sofas, chairs, flat screen television, a beautiful view of campus and a quiet place to study.

DEVELOP with support. There are

so many resources available on

campus to support you and help you

succeed. This includes the Student

Success Center, the CAPS Center,

Health & Wellness Center, the Library,

your RA and the Residence Life

Office, in addition to the support you

can gain from your friends and clubs

on campus. When you live on

campus, you are never alone.

Townhouse Complex

*Eighteen individual townhouses each having three bedrooms, two bathrooms,

a common living room, and a full kitchen. Typically, each house holds six

upper class students.

*Each townhouse is equipped with closet space, beds, desks, dressers,

chairs, and more. Cable and internet access are available in each townhouse.

*Behind each townhouse is a small patio area. The complex has central air conditioning and a full laundry facility.

Separate complex parking for townhouse residence only.

*Located on Lake Street, the Yellow House is a very comfortable residence for four upper class students.

*The house offers the full amenities of a typical household, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room area , dining room and a full kitchen. Directly off the kitchen is a relaxing deck and a

washer and dryer are located in the basement. This house has cable and internet access.

*Adequate parking located in the back of the house for residence only.

Yellow House on Lake Street

SUCCEED academically. Studies have shown that students who live on campus are more likely to graduate and more likely to have a higher GPA than students who

do not. Why? You have easy access to academic support on campus and live amongst those with the same academic interests as you.

*This Misericordia owned and operated house on our Lower Campus next to Passan Hall provides a close and comfortable alternative to the other residence halls. It is a co-ed residence for upper class students and

is beneficial for those in Speech Language Pathology, Nursing, OT and PT majors.

*The house offers the full amenities of a typical household, including twobathrooms, a large kitchen with appliances, beds, dressers, desks,

couches, chairs, tables, laundry facility and full living including flat screen television. Cable and internet access are available in each room.

*Adequate parking behind house for residence only.
