‘’We Exist Because of you’’
Pamia Initiative: was established 26th October, 2018 under a heartfelt and passionate desire/
need to effect changes and well-being in the life of humans across board as well as to give lives a
meaning Africa by standing on a mutual commitment, inclusiveness, uniting to create mutual
development and better lives for all.
We are human rights, Peace, educational, empowerment, developmental and good governance based
Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Non-Profit organization govern by Executive Council and
Advisory Council of notable personalities, the NGO is registered under companies and Allied Matters Act
(CAMA) CAP C20 LFN 2004, Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
with the Registration Number RC: CAC/IT/NO/120025 we are One of the key pioneer of Human Rights
and Peace education in Nigeria with her Project title HUMAN RIGHTS FOR PEACEFUL EXISTENCE

What is the future of Nigeria at my 80’s no water, education, light and among others in my community, an elder statesman lamented with thoughts during our community engagement program in FCT, Abuja-Nigeria.

WHAT WE DO
Establish and promote association to support the goals
Reducing extreme poverty at all level and building sustain-
able future in communities
To strengthen and support educational, health, Agricul-
ture, and environmental activities for the amelioration of
society especially rural communities
Providing free counsel and legal services for the poor of
the poorest and communities
Creating a platform for capacity building, promoting and
engaging the host society on human/social development,
economic, inequality and social security
Building and Promoting a talented generation through art forms from the Grassroots
Supporting and Empowering Less Privilege Children, Youth and Women/Girl Especially in rural communities
Promoting and strengthening Human and Civil
Rights, Peace, Gender Equality, CSR/ISR, and Good
Governance in Africa.
SEED
We run a simple, tight and effective group base organizational structure headed by
executive council (EC), advisory council (AC), departments and teams where the majority
of the organization decision is taken by the EC which the EC is headed by Co-Founder/
CES with the consultation of the AC, this help to strengthen, check and balances in the
system and also encourage collectiveness, Inclusiveness and solidarity spirit within mem-
bers of staff with an open floor for every persons to strive higher. In our organization we
are gender sensitive that is 70 percent of members of staff are women as well as they are
included in the key decision making.
SUMMARY OF WHAT WE HAVE DONE THUS FAR
In the last three quarter, we were able to reach thousands of individuals, directly
sensitized and engaged over 1,839 persons and we have distributed more than 5,429
self-educative Human Rights Materials to pupils in a dozen secondary schools,
youth groups (i.e NYSC) and rural communities within Abuja, with material
support from Youth for human rights Int’l, United for Human rights, Citizens
commission on Human Rights through Abuja Chapter including National
Human Rights Commission of Nigeria among other organizations.
OUR SCHOOLS ACTIVITIES In implementing our ongoing marathon project, Human Rights for Peaceful
Existence we have gone various private and Government secondary schools in FCT,
Abuja-Nigeria to sensitize and engage the student on human rights and peace on how
they can become an advocate for peace, tolerance and active citizens in their respective
environs. We have sensitized and engage more than 1,116 pupils across schools, some
photo images as display.
One of the team member Miss Precious Umeanaeto expatiating more
on child rights/peace and how they can be advocates and always do
what is rights even when nobody sees them in their immediate
environment and important it is for them to take their study serious
for it’s their rights , they should not denied themselves of it. These
engagement when on in several schools as we had this one with the
Government Junior Secondary School, Area 10, Garki, Abuja-Nigeria.
OUR YOUTH ACTIVITIES
We have sensitized and engaged the youth on human rights, peace and
drug abuse we have been able to talk to over 256 youths in their various
groups and zones, one of that beneficiary among others is national
youth service corps members (NYSC), the programs is still ongoing in
other zones and groups in Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja-
Nigeria.
OUR COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES Over the time we see how people in the rural community has been denied their rights and begging and
crying for peace, security and better life in some part of the country, we carried out an engagement and
sensitization in some communities in Abuja-Nigeria were we engaged nothing less than 467 rural
community dwellers including the community heads (Chief ’s) in their respective villages across FCT, Abuja,
some of this communities are community that lack most social amenities such as safe and clean water to
drink, schools, medical care, power (light) respectively, their talented youth are wasting their potential in the
farms and others involving in negative vices to harm themselves and other humans in the community and
beyond. There need for Government and well-meaning organizations and capable individual to reach out
them.
We have work with other organizations on numerous programs/events not to mentioned but few and their respective label Photos
(1) On the 28th of September, 2018 we work with the United Network of Youth for Peace and Diplomacy sup-
ported by IBI Foundation to mark the World Peace day 2018, with a public lecture ‘’Titled” Human Rights, a
Pathway to Sustainable Peace in Nigeria (exploiting the principle on Universal Declaration of Human Rights
as a Foundation for Freedom, Justice and Peace).

On the 7th of December, 2018 We worked with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)
headquarter and Neitherland Embassy to execute Inter-school quiz competition, involving Government
Secondary School Students between the ages of 10 - 16 years, Five (5) Schools participated in the quiz were
Government Junior Secondary School Tudun Wada, Wuse Zone 4, FCT, Abuja won the first position in the
competition.

On the 10th of December, 2018 we equally work national Human Rights Commission of Nigeria HQ, Unit-
ed Nation, Australia embassy, and youth for human rights int’l (Abuja chapter) at FCT, Abuja-Nigeria, in
celebration International Human Rights Day and to mark Human Rights 7oth years’ anniversary through a
walk and public lecture event and we also honor the person of Mr. Bukhari Bello MFR, mni, F.DRI the For-
mer Special Assistant to Hon. Attorney General and Minster for Justice, Former Executive Secretary of Na-
tional Human Rights Commission and He is currently the Chairman of the Federal Road Safety Commis-
sion, 2017-date was awarded and by naming the National Human Rights Commission of Nigeria Headquar-
ter program hall after him for his great works. We also have a lot participation from almost all Para-military,
Military and other Organizations and CSOs..

From on the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, & 15th of July, 2019 we work with SDGs Thursday Team under United
Nation Sustainable Development Goals Nigeria, IBI Foundation, One and other several organizations on
SDGs Festival of Idea (SDGs FOI 2019) pilot event for the main event around September to October. On
this pilot event we did a walk for SDGs from Unity Fountain, A session with the 9th Assembly, Thought
Leaders Engagement in the Achievement of Agenda 2030, the SDGs Treasure Hunt and lastly the (WYSD)
World Youth Skill Day ‘’The Convergence’’ this is to prepare us up for the next level.

On the 4th of February, 2019 we work with Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI Network)
and other Civil Society Organizations on a peaceful demonstration walk on #9ja votes2019
‘’Vote not Fight’’ to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Headquarter,
Maitama, Abuja, joining our voice with millions of Nigerians to advocate for peaceful and
inclusive electoral process, free and fair election.

On the 23rd of February, 9th March & other days in 2019 general election such as
Presidential, Senatorial, House of Representative, Local Government among others elections
where we participated in observing the process of the elections.
