About what you may ask, Polygons!

They are all around us!

No Mrs. Shipley is not CRAZY!

What are polygons? What qualifies something as a polygon? What are the names of some common

polygons? What is the relationship between the number

of sides a polygon has and its name? What are vertices? Where do we see polygons in the world? How are polygons important? Why are polygons important

What are we going to do? We will be learning about polygons. Each student will research a

polygon and use that information to create a 5- 7 slide power point presentation.

You will connect polygons to their everyday life.

What else will you do? You will use Microsoft Publisher

and create a wanted poster. You will also visit the Macmillan-

McGraw Hill website and complete an e-journal.

WOW what fun!

Challenge Are you up for the challenge of

becoming a polygon expert? By the time we are finished with

this project you will be a polygon expert!
