Thank you for taking the time to check our profile out and learn more about us. We admire your strength and courage on exploring adoption as an option for your child. After going through many failed infertility treatments, we know God has a plan for us to become a family through adoption. We believe adoption is the right choice for us. We will love your child with our whole heart. We hope that after you read through our profile, you will see that a child placed in our home will be loved unconditionally. We will make sure that a child placed in our home knows how much you love them as well. We are open to sending pictures and letters as your child grows.

US & Our familyWe were best friends through high school and reconnected in 2013. Clark always knew I was the one, but I was always afraid of losing a friend if it didn’t work out. Clark proposed in the summer of 2015, and we married that fall. We enjoy spending time with our friends and family, and every Sunday after church we go to my grandma’s house for a family dinner. Throughout the year, we try to hit up a few concerts. The Buckeye Country Superfest has been our favorite concert. In the winter, we enjoy watching a good movie and having a game night at our house. Clark’s choice of movie is a Mark Wahlberg action movie and Ashley would rather watch a funny Adam Sandler movie. We live on a big hill, so sleigh riding is a must. We also enjoy watching basketball and cheering on the CAVS. In the spring, we enjoy being outside in the nice weather. Our friend’s kids play baseball, and we enjoy watching them play. We can’t wait to teach a little one how to play ball.

Every summer we go on a vacation; we usually choose the beach as our destination. We have been to Myrtle Beach, Virginia Beach, and Destin, Florida which is our favorite so far. This is something we plan to continue as a family in the future. Once fall comes around,

we enjoy having friends over to play corn hole and a fire outside where roasting marshmallows is a must! We go on four-wheeler rides and enjoy Halloween campouts. Our Saturdays are typically filled with football as we love cheering on the Buckeyes!

The thought of making these kinds of memories with a little bundle of joy, has us so excited!

Clark grew up in the city limits, but his parents have always had a barn at the property we made our home. Growing up, Clark kept 4-H animals at this barn where he loved being involved with his steers and pigs. It is something he hopes his kids will take interest in one day. Clark enjoys riding his motorcycle with his dad and Ashley’s dad. Clark has a great relationship with his parents who live minutes from our home and are very excited to be grandparents. He also has a younger sister whom he is proud of. As a Manufacturing Engineer, Clark’s focus in his current job is design of tooling and design of components in the manufacturing process.

Clark has the best personality, and he always knows how to make me smile when I need it the most. He can have a conversation with anyone and is very forgiving. He works hard at everything he does. He is a laid back kind of guy, doesn’t sweat the small stuff, and there is never a dull moment when he is around. Kids absolutely love him! I watch how he is with our cousins and friend’s kids, and I know he is going to make the perfect dad.

She helps keep me focused on what’s important in life, and she is so much fun to be with. She can be quiet at first, but then once she gets warmed up, she doesn’t stop talking. She’s so much fun; you never know what she is going to say or do. I admire her faith and positive attitude during both the good and bad times. She is one of the most caring people I know. I’m pretty sure she is a baby whisperer because most babies she holds are sound asleep within minutes. She has the touch, that’s for sure! The love she shows toward our cousins and friend’s kids amazes me. She is going to make the most loving and caring mom!

Ashley grew up in the country about fifteen minutes from town. Growing up, she enjoyed playing sports. She played basketball, softball, and ran cross country, but basketball was definitely her favorite. She would shoot hoops for hours. Sports are something she hopes her kids will enjoy. Ashley also enjoys cooking, especially with her Grandma. Ashley’s parents were married 32 years before her mom passed away, and she still has a great relationship with her dad who is very excited to be Papa. Even though her mom isn’t here, they believe in their hearts that she is watching over them and will be smiling ear to ear as their family grows. Ashley has an older sister who she’s very close to. Ashley works just five minutes from home as a Clerical Lead in her department.

We have two dogs, Maggie and Bella. They are a big part of our everyday life. Maggie is an 8 year old miniature schnauzer that loves to cuddle any chance she gets. Bella is a 1 year old standard Labradoodle that is full of energy and loves playing fetch.

Our home is located right outside the city limits. We were fortunate to have the option of building our home on property that has been in Clark’s family since the mid-60’s. The Amish built our home in 2016, and we moved in the beginning of 2017. It has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a huge basement for lots of toys and games.

Our home sits way off the road up on a hill, so it’s perfect for flying kites, playing ball, and riding bicycles. We have 11 acres of our own and Clark’s parents have 31 acres that surround us. Clark’s parents have a barn just down the hill from our house, and we keep a path mowed from our property to theirs. It is very convenient and perfect for four-wheelers, dirt bikes, hay rides, and 4-H animals.
