minister to others in the name of Christ.
We extend a special welcome to our guests today! We hope you will find comfort and meaning in
our service as we worship together. After the service, please join us at the entrance doors to receive
a welcome gift and become better acquainted. Our church family appreciates your presence here
today, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

GATHERING TOGETHER
WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS SHARING JOYS AND CONCERNS PRELUDE: Sing to the Lord arr: Mark Hayes CALL TO WORSHIP: based on Psalm 92:1-5,8 Judith Bloor
Leader: It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High, People: to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, Leader: to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. People: For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; I sing for joy at the
works of your hands. Leader: How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts! People: You, O LORD, are exalted forever.
* GATHERING SONG: #559—We Gather Together * PRAYER OF CONFESSION: (unison) Judith Bloor
Leader: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. People: If we claim to have fellowship with him, yet walk in darkness, we lie
and do not live by the truth. All: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship
with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
Our Heavenly Father, we are unable to hide who we truly are from you. You know our thoughts and our intentions, our words before we speak them and our actions before we do them. Your knowledge of us is perfect and complete. Admitting that we have sinned and fallen short of your glory, hear our prayer and heal our hearts… (silently confess your sins) SILENTCONFESSION ASSURANCE OF PARDON
* GREETING ONE ANOTHER: Leader: May the peace of Christ be with you.
People: And also with you.

All we want for Christmas is our volunteers, our volunteers, see our volunteers? Sign-up sheets have been posted in the categories of sales (cashiers, weighing of baked goods, and runners), guest service (hostesses), receiving provided baked goods on Friday Dec. 4, as well as decorations, and sales set up and take down. We request that all persons or family units who are able contribute a minimum of four dozen cookies (more are encouraged). We also request cakes, candies, breads, rolls, pies or a ny type of homemade treats (not from store or bakery). An abundance of choice and plenty of helping hands make for a great sales event. Besides the Sew 'n Sews crafts, many of you make lovely and useful items for the sale each year, and we encourage all of you to continue for 2015! We ask that our Trinity men get involved with baking, providing crafts if you have a hobby, and especially to take down and store items as the sale ends at 11:00 a.m. In the event of inclement weather, your assistance early Saturday morning with clearing the walkways to Fellowship Hall will be vital!
Our reward is to know we are bettering the lives of others through our mission work and outreach. Besides our two front teeth, what is better than that?
Today’s flowers are given by Bill & RoseMary Hambleton in honor of the
birth of their great grandson, Samuel Genaro Francis Bauer

Trinity Church will be a relay center this year for Operation Christmas Child (OCC). We can use some help. You do not have to be young or strong to help with OCC – just a desire to help. We need volunteers to greet the donors, to offer to pray with the donors and the boxes, and to sit and make sure that the donors are signing in their boxes. If you are a strong person, we could use your help loading the truck on Saturday, November 21st at 1:00 p.m. There are sign-up sheets on the Mission Board. Please prayerfully consider helping. We will be having a packing party during WOW on November 18th, please bring items for the boxes.
