regular World Class programs will win a whole new sparring gear package with a gear bag, kick-ing target and more.

Share your love of Tae Kwon Do! Be sure your friends mention your name when they come to the school.

Lights, camera, action: movie night Kids, don’t miss the chance to eat pizza and

watch a movie with your friends. Parents, don’t miss the opportunity to attend that holiday party or finish your shopping.

From 6-11p.m. on Saturdays Dec. 7, 14, and 21, we will host movie nights. Cost is $20 per child and includes dinner, snacks, a movie and lots of fun. A sign-up sheet is posted at the school and space is limited.

the school as we celebrate the holiday season with our Tae Kwon Do family. We will have a sampling of Korean food, such as bulgogi and kimchi. Please bring one of your family’s favorite dishes to share. A sign-up sheet will be posted at the school.

News Briefs: please take noteHelp everyone stay healthyIf you are suffering from a cold or other illness, please stay home until you are better. We love to have everyone share their enthusiasm and positive energy during class, but not their colds and coughs. We appreci-ate your cooperation so that every-one can have a healthy new year.

Inclement weather policy If classes are canceled because of

bad weather, an announcement will be posted to our Facebook page and a message will be recorded at the school. Please call 289-0201.

If we are closed, we will not open later in the evening, even if the weather improves. If we are open and weather conditions deteriorate, please double check before coming to class, as we may close early.

As always, if classes are not

canceled, please use your discretion before deciding to travel to class. Your safety is very important to us!

Please label jackets, gearAs the weather gets cooler and

students begin wearing jackets to school, please remember to label all items with your child’s name. Don’t forget to label each piece of sparring gear. A lost-and-found bin is located near the locker rooms. At the end of each semester, any unclaimed items will be donated to charity.

Help keep our lobby clearPlease do your part to keep the

lobby and seating area clear. All shoes, jackets, bags, etc. should be placed on shelves in the changing area or on the shoe shelf outside of the main office. Do not leave shoes on the floor where others may trip and fall.

Reminder of new program changes

Sparring: required safety gear is headgear, mouthpiece, chest protector, arm guards, shin guards, and (for males) groin cups. Yellow belts and higher will need full safety gear for belt testing. Earn your red tip for sparring by attending a Saturday controlled-contact sparring class.
