音樂總監 葉惠康博士著名作曲家、指揮家及音樂教育家。先後創立香港浸會大學音樂系（前身為音樂及藝術系）和多個本港重要音樂團體，包括香港兒童合唱團、香港泛亞交響樂團、葉氏兒童合唱團、香港兒童交響樂團，以及香港專業管樂團等。2011 年獲香港特別行政區政府頒授銅紫荊星章，以表揚他數十年來在音樂教育的貢獻。

鋼琴獨奏 / 指揮 黃祖麒畢業於香港浸會大學音樂系，後赴澳洲悉尼音樂學院，獲指揮及鋼琴演奏碩士學位；澳洲ASKM黃金海岸鋼琴比賽及香港-亞洲鋼琴公開比賽冠軍得主，並曾任香港小交響樂團助理指揮。

Music Director Dr Yip Wai-hongVeteran composer, conductor and educationist Dr Yip Wai-hong was the

founder of Hong Kong Baptist University’s Music Department (then

Music and Fine Arts Department) and has established many of the

city’s landmark music groups, including Hong Kong Children’s

Choir, Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra, Yip’s Children’s Choir, Hong

Kong Children’s Symphony Orchestra and Hong Kong Professional

Winds. In 2011, he was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star by the

Hong Kong SAR Government for his outstanding contribution to music

education.

Piano Soloist / Conductor Jacky WongA graduate of Hong Kong Baptist University’s Department of Music,

Jacky Wong went on to study at the Sydney Conservatorium of

Music, where he received Master’s degrees in conducting and

piano performance. He is a previous winner of the ASKM Gold

Coast Open Piano Competition and Hong Kong-Asia Piano Open

Competition, and was Assistant Conductor at Hong Kong Sinfonietta.

管樂悠遊

指揮 魏龍勝畢業於香港演藝學院音樂系，獲萬瑞庭音樂基金及皮博迪獎學金赴美國約翰霍普金斯大學皮博迪音樂學院，研習小號及指揮，取得音樂碩士學位；曾獲韓國濟州國際管樂節最佳指揮獎。

Conductor Kelvin NgaiAfter graduating from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts,

Kelvin Ngai received the Bernard van Zuiden Music Fund and

Peabody Scholarship to study at the Peabody Conservatory, Johns

Hopkins University, where he earned his Master of Music degree in

trumpet performance and conducting. He received the Best Conductor

Award at the 2014 Jeju International Wind Ensemble Festival in Korea.

遼闊的非洲、神秘的印度、恢宏的美國、浪漫的歐洲、壯麗的蘇格蘭⋯⋯《管樂悠遊》帶來一趟由葉惠康博士精心策劃的音樂旅程，指揮魏龍勝聯同香港專業管樂團，以一首首馳名樂曲，與大家踏遍天涯，在音樂世界裡領略不同地域的風土人情和音樂特色。

香港專業管樂團是本港首個職業管樂團，由葉惠康博士在2013年創立。樂團曾與鋼琴家沈文裕、小提琴家李傳韻等國際知名獨奏家合作演出。為是次音樂會擔任鋼琴獨奏的黃祖麒，是亞洲及澳洲第一位指揮兼彈奏全套貝多芬鋼琴協奏曲的音樂家。齊來加入這趟歡快的旅程，一覽音樂世界的無限風光。

Expansive Africa, mystical India, spectacular America, romantic Europe, including a

tribute to Scotland’s awe-inspiring landscape… all secure a place on this

imaginative journey across the continents, designed by eminent conductor Dr Yip

Wai-hong. In Bands Around the World, travel with Hong Kong Professional Winds

through a kaleidoscope of different cultures as the group performs inspiring

international classics under the baton of Kelvin Ngai.

Founded by Dr Yip in 2013, Hong Kong Professional Winds is the city’s first

full-time ensemble of its kind. Previous collaborations include performances with

acclaimed pianist Shen Wenyu and violinist Li Chuanyun. In this stirring concert, the

guest solo pianist is Jacky Wong, Asia Pacific’s first musician to conduct and play

all Beethoven’s piano concertos. Join this adventurous musical tour conjuring up

sights from sounds in an effervescent display of global creativity.
