Parameter description

This parameter determines whether to reallocate the TMSI during call service, supplementary service, and short message service.

This parameter determines whether to check the IMEI during the LU.

This parameter determines whether to check the IMEI during the service access.

This parameter determines whether the CFNRc is performed by the GMSC or the VMSC if the subscriber is unreachable.

This parameter determines whether a bill contains the IMEI information.

This parameter determines whether to deactivate the CheckIMEI function if the EIR is unreachable.

It defines the time interval to assign the MSOFTX3000 (VLR) to set mobile subscriber at IMSI detach status. The unit is minute. The value range is from 1 to 10080. The default value is 120.Implicit IMSI detach refers to the IMSI detach operation originated by networks, while explicit IMSI detach is originated by mobile station. In real configuration, the value should be greater than the time interval of periodic subscriber location update configured in BSC/RNC. After a mobile subscriber registers in the MSOFTX3000 (VLR), the VLR starts a monitor timer (for example: T3) If within the period of T3, the mobile subscriber is not engaged in any calling activity (originating or answering a call) or in periodic location update activity, in other words, the VLR exchanges no signaling message with the MSC or HLR, the VLR set the subscriber at IMSI detach status when the T3 expires.If network carries want to decrease the paging times of a called subscriber, configure a small value to save radio resource.

If you set this parameter to FALSE, the MSC does not order the access network to initiate the ciphering process during service access or LU.

Eight ciphering algorithms are available for a 2G network and two for a 3G network. If you set the Cipher parameter to CIPH2G, you must set the Cipher algorithm parameter to one or more 2G-specific ciphering algorithms. If you set the Cipher parameter to CIPH3G, you must set the Cipher algorithm parameter to UEA1.

There are three versions of the MAP protocol: MAP_PHASE1, MAP_PHASE2, and MAP_PHASE3. If the MSC serves a 3G network, set this parameter to MAP_PHASE3.

There are three versions of the CAMEL protocol: CAMEL_PHASE1, CAMEL_PHASE2, and CAMEL_PHASE3. If the MSC does not support the CAMEL service, set this parameter to NONE. By default, this parameter is set to CAMEL_PHASE3.

This parameter determines whether to restrict 2G-to-3G roaming based on the authentication set type.Value range: No and YesDefault value: No
