In the tropical climate, people need good ven-tilation to keep themselves cool and also good shading to protect themselves from the strong sunlight. Accordingly, Revolution provides clo-sure space for better shading. Plus, mesh fabric allows the air to go through the tent from all di-rections for good air ventilation.

Outdoor Living

Viva City Co.,Ltd. , an event company in Singa-pore, wanted to create an inflatable-structured tent for their upcoming event. I was responsible from the initial ideas to the manuturing drawings.

Marvel consists of 4 inflatable tubes. Within each tube, there are 2 tubes inside to protect the sturc-ture from vandalism. The footprint of the tent is in a 6mx6m square which creates a modular sys-tem. Each unit is connected to each other by transition fabric that is zipped to the main units.

Pattern Variations

At Smart Design San Francisco, different patterns were created for the back of wireless charger of mobile devices by me. Circular pattern was selected since it represented the movement of electricity while the device was charged. It’s di-namic, yet simple.

Link, a learning support device, connects stu-dents to instructors by acting as an emotion reader, and a personal assistance. It provides both tabletop and portable models to allow in-ternational students to choose products that fit their learning environment.

An average learning feedback will be shown through the device during the class. Like the colors of traffic light, red tells the instructor to stop and repeat, while yellow is okay, and green is good to keep teaching.
