Industry standard offering for rapid disinfection of fresh water and reuse water. Many variations of generation and delivery are available.

• Conventional Biocides(e.g. “glut/quat”) for slower water disinfection, best used on low biology projects and where re-inoculation in storage is a concern.

• AerationDissolved oxygen helps control H2S forming bacteria in long duration storage applications (pits).

• FiltrationEverything from sock filters to more exotic self-controlling back-wash filters have been used on Select projects, allowing solids filtration from 200 micron, down to 5 micron, or even smaller in specialty cases.

+ Recycling Solutions: Clarification and Beyond.Suspended solids equals higher microbial activity; both directly (they are suspended solids themselves), and indirectly (particles provide safe-harbor from many disinfection solutions). Solids can also affect proppant-pack porosity and well conductivity.• Clarification By Chemically Induced

Flocculation & Coagulation.Ideal for removing iron and suspended solids, as well as bio-contamination inducing particles. This option includes chemical addition and control, solids separations equipment, and solids dewatering equipment.

• Clarification By Electrocoagulation.Similar to the above, EC adds ions from the electrodes, to cause the clarification via coagulation. This option includes additional chemical controls, solids separations equipment, and solids dewatering equipment.

• Clarification By Chemical Oxidation. Similar to the above, ClO2 and other oxidation chemistry causes a natural coagulation and disinfection behavior, making them good clarification chemicals as well. This approach is particularly attractive with H@S contaminated waters, which is destroyed by the oxidation. Oxidation based clarification can be used in existing working tanks, or for high loads, coupled with solids separation and dewatering equipment.

• Clarification By Bubble Enhanced Floatation.Oils and suspended solids stick to and are lifted by bubbles, and are skimmed away. The process can be used stand-alone, or automated with a post-filter, to produce clarified waters. This approach is particularly good with lower density solids and oily waters.

• Distillation By Thermal Processing. The classic approach of mechanical vapor recompression is used, because it works and is energy efficient. This process is used when fresh-water product is desired.
