What We Were Learning…We learned that healthy, clean water is very

important but also very limited.

We learned how we (and others) can make changes to be smarter about the water we use.

We learned that these changes can affect the future.

The Change We Made…

We thought about how to save water in our own environment and focussed on the shed by our school garden.

A lot of water is wasted when it rains on the shed.

We looked into water storage systems – could we use one to save water in our school?

Our Plans…

Application!We applied for funding to buy the resources we

would need to build the water tank up at our school garden.

We were so excited to have our application approved, and looked forward to helping put the water tank together.

Thank you for helping us to make a change that will affect the future of water saving in OUR SCHOOL!
