Since its UK launch in May 2010, RAUVITHERM has proved immensely popular with installers due to its high flexibility and easy to use REHAU EVERLOC™ jointing system.
RAUVITHERM meets all the requirements of polymer pre-insulated pipes and offers the following benefits:

REHAU EVERLOCTM Jointing System
RAUVITHERM uses the renowned REHAU EVERLOCTM compression sleeve technology for the whole fitting range. The permanent REHAU EVERLOCTM fitting has been used over 500 million times around the world and offers the highest level of reliability and minimal bore reduction to improve hydraulic performance.
Installation Due to its low weight and high flexibility, RAUVITHERM is fast and easy to install. Connections (both tees and straight) use the RAUVITHERM shroud system, filled with highly insulating PU foam to ensure minimal heat losses at the pipe joints. RAUVITHERM also has a 5 year product warranty as standard.
WRAS approval As many of its hot water applications involve potable water, REHAU have WRAS approval for RAUVITHERM pipe and fittings, ensuring utmost confidence from the client of the water quality and ensuring all water regulations are fully adhered to.

RAUTHERMEX Pipe
RAUTHERMEX district heating pipes are made of co-extruded, fully
bonded layers, resulting in a system where water penetration
along the pipe is reduced to a minimum and no movement
between the individual layers is possible. The UNO and DUO
variants comprise one and two carrier pipes respectively, made
of high-pressure cross-linked polyethylene (PE-Xa) in accordance
with DIN 16892/93, SDR 11 with an EVOH oxygen diffusion
barrier in accordance with DIN 4726. The thermal insulation
is made of polyurethane (PU) and the outer jacket is made of
polyethylene - low density (PE-LD).
REHAU Compression Sleeve
The jointing technique for a compression sleeve is a method
developed and patented by REHAU for quick, safe and
permanently leakproof connections between PE-Xa pipes. It
comprises simply a fitting and the compression sleeve.
Additional sealing elements are not required, as the pipe
itself acts as a seal. Four sealing ribs guarantee a completely
secure connection, which also withstands the tough application
conditions on construction sites.
RAUTHERMEX T-Shroud Set Generation II
RAUTHERMEX T-shroud set, makes reliable insulation of
T-branches in RAUTHERMEX pipes with an outer diameter of
up to 182mm considerably easier and quicker. Comprises two
half-shells, which are placed over the branch and simply pressed
together with clamping clasps.
The seal between the coupling and the pipe is carried out by
means of an innovative sealing ring concept. Track grooves
ensure that the coupling sits perfectly, while combined sealing
and vent plugs also ensure quick and easy installation. Insulation
is carried out in a similar way with the dual-component
RAUTHERMEX coupler foam.

Nitrogen and why it matters in an expansion vessel Nitrogen is a dry, inert gas used in the Reflex range of expansion vessels to improve your vessels’ life span.
Why use Nitrogen Instead of Compressed Air? The oxygen in compressed air permeates through the membrane, reducing the pre charge pressure. During normal function, oxygen oxidises the membrane in the vessel, causing under-inflation and deterioration of the rubber.
Dry nitrogen by comparison maintains proper inflation pressure longer, will not corrode the inside of the vessel and extends valve and expansion vessel life.
Nitrogen prevents other types of corrosion as well Oxygen and moisture corrode both aluminium and steel fabrications and also react with rubber, another type of “corrosion”.

Laddomat Systems Overview
Why Use Laddomat Systems Prolonged boiler life, Laddomat cols your boiler using pre-warmed water reducing corrosion. Many boiler manufacturers off extended warranties on systems fitted with a Laddomat unit
Improved Economy, a tankless system has to be started several times a day to maintain heat which increases the consumption of fuels, a storage tank and Laddomat system reduces this requirement and can save you up to 50% in fuel costs.
How does Laddomat Work?When the boiler fires, Laddomat circulations the water internally within the boiler so that working temperature is more rapidly achieved, the hot water is then pumped into the top of the accumulator tank. The returned water is used to cool the boiler system.
How does an accumulator tank work? Accumulator tanks work using a separation system - simple physics that hot water is lighter than cold water so the hot water stays at the top of the tank, and the cooler water at the bottom. The Laddomat system controls the flow of the water so as to maintain the difference between the water temperatures.
System BenefitsThe combination of a Laddomat unit and accumulator tank allows for more efficient use of a log fired biomass unit. Since biomas burners cannot be switched on and off at will the accumulator tanks allows the hot water generated from the unit to be stored and then later retrieved for use. Depending on how long the biomass unit is used for affects how much hot water is stored in the tank.

Unical Biomass Boilers
Unical are one of the largest manufacturers of biomass boilers in Europe.
They have a proven pedigree and held initial patents on log gasification
boilers in the late seventies. Unical boilers are built to latest European
standards, and use 8mm boiler plate as a minimum for use in the

Introduction The SATK heat interface unit range provides a complete solutions for instantaneous hot water product and space
heating control.
Design Features The twin plate design hydraulically separates both domestic and space heating from the central primary supply.
The internal electronic control unit ensures maximum efficiency and control but also incorporates other additional important features. The standard unit can be set to hold a stable heating flow temperature, to suit the installation (radiators, UFH for example), but crucially, can also be set to vary the heating flow temperature automatically depending on the temperature of the heating return water. This allows the unit to automatically compensate for changes due to external influences, such as outside temperature etc. thereby ensuring that the unit and the system operate at maximum efficiency The unit also features a pump bypass to protect the pump, in case of complete radiator TRV shutdown.
The SATK30 is extremely compact in design and lightweight, and has a fully insulated front cover, manufactured from expanded PPE, which includes a sliding window to allow the tenant to access the integral heat meter (if installed).
The unit can be fitted with an optional isolation module which allows the domestic hot water (DHW) and heating circuits to be remotely isolated by the building owner/landlord etc. via a computer with internet access.

RHI Compliant Heat Meters
Product Outline A high quality compact basic pressure switch controlled unit. The WP ECO PSC is fitted with a pump control pressure switch, whilst the WP ECO HL PSC includes additional high/low pressure switches. A 3 bar continuously rated quality pump allows to the product to be used as a top up unit with systems up to 200kW.
To facilitate ease of fitting, especially in restricted spac-es, all connections are located on the left side. A retrofit kit is available to minimise downtime during installation into existing systems.
