Regulatory Enforcement to Industries

• Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation

issued notifications to 9 prioritized sectors including F&B sectors,

to submit Environmental Management Plan (EMP)

Develop a proper EMP including a systematic monitoring

plan

b) Air pollution control system (including odor)

A Sustainable Future for F&B

WWF-Myanmar partnering with MFPEA and SBFIC, the new EU funded

project: “Catalyzing Sustainable Water and Energy Management in Food and

Beverage industries in the Ayeyarwady River Basin’, will strive to create an

enabling environmental for Myanmar’s F&B (SMEs) to profitably invest in

green technologies, reducing both ecological footprint and production cost.

Exportiers Association (MFPEA), Sparkassenstiftung Project

Conservation(MONREC); Ministry of Industry(MoI); Myanmar

Industries Association(MIA); UMFCCI; Yangon Technological

University (YTU)

• To raise the awareness of financial sectors and leverage innovative financing to catalyze bank lending to SMEs in green technologies

• To develop best practices and lessons shared among SMEs
