MISSION

Provide a technology to support farmers to

easily access high quality and affordable locally

produced organic fertilizer to increase the

quality and quantity of their production yields.

BIOFERTILIZERS FOR SUSTAINBLE AGRICULTURE IN AFRICA

Page 6: WASTE TO VALUE

HIGH HEAT COMPOSITING TECHONOLGYDeveloped and tested in Denmark, Germany and

Uganda

The main test has been on garbage, sludge and crushed

garden waste, mixed with raw phosphate and ash, as

decomposed organics develop organic acid, that opens up

phosphate and potassium for plant uptake.

The technology is based on known technology such as

crusher, mixer and conveyer.

Only the closed Bio container for composting is

developed with special features: steering system, blower,

temperature and oxygen sensor.

BENEFITS OF THE BIOFERTILIZERS

◦ Renewable source of agriculture nutrients

◦ Improve texture, structure and water holding

capacity of soil

◦ Sustain soil health

◦ Supplement chemical fertilizers

◦ Price 25-30% lower than the chemical fertilizers

o Increase agriculture yields by 10-40%

o No adverse effect on plant growth and soil

fertility

o Stimulates plant growth by secreting growth

hormones

o Solubilize and mobilize nutrients

o Kills germs and diseases

o Eco-friendly, non pollutants and cost-effective

method.

WHY INVEST IN THIS TECHNOLOGY?

◦ High ROI

◦ Growing population in Africa

◦ Demand for biofertilizers

◦ Shift in trends, focus on organic products

◦ Smallholder farmers make up 70% percent of the population in sub-Saharan Africa

◦ Availabity of raw material – 70% of waste generated in Africa is organic waste

◦ Availability of labour

◦ Impact invest- Reduce environment pollution

◦ The technology is scalable
