    REQUIRED TOOLS/MATERIALS

The following tools and materials may be needed to install the system:

¨ Philips and flat head screwdriver

    ¨ Adjustable hacksaw

    ¨ Pipe wrench

    ¨ PVC wire nuts

    ¨ PVC pipe primer

    ¨ PVC glue

¨ Nut driver for rubber coupling ( 5/16" common)

¨ Two (2) 4' braided flexible hoses for hot and cold water supply

¨ 2" PVC schedule 40 elbows and piping

¨ Electrical line disconnect box (follow local codes)

    ¨ 2" straight rubber coupling

    ¨ Volt meter

    ¨ 2" P-trap, if plumbed into a vented line

    ¨ ½" water-tight conduit

    ¨ Two (2) ½" water-tight fittings

    ¨ 3-conductor + 1-ground 12-gauge wire

    SYSTEM COMPONENTS

  • INSTALLATION INFORMATION – TABLE

    • Position unit near a 2" (51 mm) or larger vented drain line (with P-trap) or floor drain.

    • Positon unit against a wall with ample clearance for cleaning and service; front and side panels are removable to facilitate cleaning and service.

    • Requires ½" hot and cold water supply lines with ½" male-NPT fittings with ball valve shut-offs at the wall.

    • Requires at least 72" (1,829 mm) clearance height for overhead sprayer.

    • Optional – Install Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP), stainless steel or similar wall covering (not supplied) in the area to be occupied to facilitate cleaning. Extend coverage above table and to left and right of table, as needed. IMPORTANT NOTE – Install all components per the Instruction,

Care and Use manual and in accordance to local, state, and/or national plumbing and electrical codes.

    INSTALLATION INFORMATION – PLUMBING

    • If installing in an existing facility (renovation or retrofit), the drain line should be cleared and tested prior to installation.

    • Plumbing can be run to either side of unit.• Run drain line from unit to floor drain with ¼" per foot pitch. • The targeted rate is 30-80 psi (551.6kPa), at fittings/shutoff;

pressure regulators should be used outside of this range.• If terminating into a vented drain line, it is recommended

to use a P-trap during installation. A P-trap is not required when plumbing to floor drain.

    • Do not connect the drain line to a grease trap, interceptor or drum trap.
