Opening KeynoteWednesday May 11 1:30 – 2:30 pm

Mastering The Leadership MindsetDeveloping a mindset of passion, growth and innovation

What do the highest-performing individuals, teams and organizations have in common? They share a success mindset…they perform at high levels first because of what happens in between their ears. It’s not their strategy, the compensation plan, students’ performance, nor the school board’s approach that get in the way of success. It is what each leader, team member and employee chooses to focus on, to believe, and to create for themselves and for others.Mastering your mindset is the greatest accelerator of success you will ever find. Building supreme self-confi-dence is not simply a lever you can pull to become successful at work; it also allows you to live a more reward-ing and enriching personal life. In this session, you’ll see how to leverage their mindset by learning how to:

1. Cultivate the 5 essentials of a powerful mindset.2. Manage self-talk.3. Play to your strengths.4. Harness the indomitable power of purpose.5. Pay attention, set intentions and seek repetition.

Payroll/Personnel/Retirement continued2016 Benefits Compliance Playbook - Strategizing for the year aheadIn 2015, the Employer Mandate took effect for many employers, IRS reporting on minimum essential coverage kept benefits and payroll extremely busy, and a slew of new regulations under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (“PPACA”) and others laws made change the only constant. 2016 looks to be just as busy as regulators seek to finalize rules under GINA, the ADA, and PPACA, in addition to introducing new regulations. Employers committed to providing comprehensive benefits and compensation to their employees must consider these regulatory changes and the risks they may pose to their organization’s ability to meet cost targets, sustain their benefits and compensation programs, and compete for top talent. As a trusted advisor, Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has developed its Compliance Playbook series to help employers identify targeted employee benefits compliance issues as part of the overall game plan.
