The offeringThe Wärtsilä Auxpac high-speed generating set is a complete

solution for a ship’s onboard power requirement and covers an

output range of 60 to 1630 kWe. The generating set is supplied

as a pre-commissioned standard package that ensures the

availability of electrical power in sufficient quantity as and when

it is needed. It comes complete with a high-speed engine,

generator and monitoring system, all fully factory built, tested

and ready for installation onboard. Compact in design, they 

occupy less space and their good accessibility makes service andmaintenance easy.

The featuresThe high-speed generating sets are optimized combinations of 

diesel engines running on MGO and marine alternators

mounted together on a rigid common baseframe and installed to

the deck on flexible mounting elements.

 All high-speed generating sets are equipped with a

 well-matched 4-pole brushless, marine AC alternator directly 

coupled to the engine through a flexplate. The alternators

have permanent magnet excitation systems with built-in

voltage regulators (AVR) for good dynamic performance and

accurate voltage stability. There are 12 wires reconnectable

for different main voltages.

The Wärtsilä Auxpac high-speed generating sets are type

approved by the major classification societies and can be

delivered under complete certification.

The service Wärtsilä provides full service support for the Wärtsilä Auxpac

generating set range including commissioning, maintenance and

spare parts. Complete spare parts kits of original parts ease

service and maintenance onboard. The Wärtsilä service

organization with more than 6000 professionals worldwide
