Manufacturing Systems: automation of manufacturing systems, mobile robots, distributed control systems, work organization on shop floor, manufacturing systems design.
Manufacturing Process: tool condition monitoring, cutting processes optimization, special tools design, non conventional machining (EDM, WEDM, ECM etc) and fine processes development, metrology, Statistical Process Control.
Machine-tools Design: design and optimization of machine tools and its components, including driving systems, monitoring, supervision and performance evaluation of machine-tools.
