What is AFAP? • The “Voice of the Customer”• Engages Soldiers, Family members, survivors, retirees and Army Civilians

across all Army Components to identify, prioritize, and elevate quality of life issues to senior leaders for action and resolution.

What Can I Do? Leading up to the two-day event and during the conference as well, will be some great Volunteer opportunities in which YOU can become involved and participate. The AFAP Conference is held for the community and much of the effort in the planning and coordination done is by members from within our own community! This year’s AFAP conference will need Facilitators, Recorders, Transcribers,

and Issue Support, just to name a few volunteer positions. We will also need Delegates! Delegates are essential to the AFAP Conference, as they are charged with working together in group sets to review and prioritize issues which are then presented to the Garrison Commander and Area I Leaders during the Out Brief Session of the conference.

How Can You Get Involved?Submit your issues, concerns, and recommendations by logging on to the AFAP Issue Management Information System (IMIS) at: https://www.myarmyonesource.com/skins/aos2/display.aspx?ModuleID=a10586da-73a1-4402-9107-58b7bf046a21You may also submit your issues by finding a local AFAP Issues Submission Box located in ACS, designated areas on Camp Casey, Camp Red Cloud, and other Area I locations.

For additional information, please contact 730-3388/3107 or email [email protected]

Army FAmily Action PlAn

The Army Family Action Plan is a grass-roots process that directs actions to enhance readiness and increase retention by improving the standards of living

for Soldiers, Family members, Retirees and Civilians. AFAP provides a way for Soldiers and Family members to let Army leadership

know what works, what doesn’t and what they think will fix it!

In Support of the Army Family Covenant
