The Danube-class Runabout is the smallest Starship-class vessel currently in Star-eet service; their versatility includes swappable pods and rollbar-mounted sensor and weapon packages. There is a model of the USS Shenandoah, NCC-73024 on display in the Chief Science Ofcers cabin.

The Captains Yacht is a auxilliary craft designed to allow the ships Commanding Ofcer a way to travel in comfort to shore leave and diplomatic destinations. Slightly larger than a runabout, it is equipped with sleeping quarters and a common area. Since the Dominion W ar, they have been upgraded with moderate weapons and shields for use ferrying important diplomats to and from the ship.
