Today is “Constitution
Day” On this day in 1787 our new
Constitution was ratified and made the new law of the land.

2) Fifth Amendment Protects citizens rights to the
“due process of the law” which means if someone is
accused of a crime, the govt must follow established legal procedures

3) 14th Amendment Extends due
process to the actions of the state governments
