warhammer painting techniques

Warhammer painting technique This is a way to save a few quid if your into painting. To save yourself buying a devlan mud wash or various others you can get the same affect buy either wash your brush in a glass of water but don’t refill it , get really dirty water or if you have some scorched brown (or dark browns)once you have mostly fineshed with the pot and it has a little hard paint at the bottom add water let settle and should come out as a brill dirt wash that is especially good on orks for dirt , it lets you get dirt in between thwre muscles that looks awesome. If you want a more metallic wash for more armoured armies(like grey knights and necrons)just add a bit of metallic paint such as boltgun metal to the dirty water or wash. I have used both of these techniques on my ork war boss and it looks awesome , I hope this is useful to you.
