Wardrobe Basics 101 Style At Any Age
When you go shopping, who are you shopping for? the woman you are; the woman
you wish you were ... or the woman you used to be?
One of the reasons so many women dread getting dressed every day, is because their
closet does not reflect them or who they aspire to be.
They are frustrated because they have a vision of how they want to be perceived in
their mind’s eye, however vague - and yet their wardrobe does not have the pieces to
bring this vision into reality.
So women end up complaining about their clothing or that they has nothing to wear.
In truth, often the real issue is that she does not have a closet full of pieces she loves,
that work together to help her create the looks of her choosing. Her wardrobe does
not have a ‘SOUL’ - her SOUL.’
There are so many emotional associations we have with our clothes, least of which may
be whether they even suit us. So often we buy clothing for the wrong reasons.
However, these are the right reasons to buy clothes:
• it suits your body type • it works with other pieces in your closet
• it fits you beautifully • it looks fabulous on you• it is in synch with your style • most importantly - You LOVE IT!
• it is your right colour
