MetamorphicMineral Composition- The most common minerals in this rock are quartz, potassium feldspar, and sodium feldspar.

Color- The color of Gneiss is an alternating of black and white.

Texture- Gneiss is a foliated metamorphic rock that has coarse grain and is non-micaceous.
