RADON TESTINGBy now, you likely know about the potential risks associated with radon gas and lung cancer. Several counties in Michigan’s UP have as many as one out of four homes testing at levels higher than the EPA’s suggested

WATER QUALITY TESTINGLet me test your water for potability, especially if your property has a private well, cistern or septic system. I will test it for coliform and other bacteria that can be harmful to your family’s health. I also offer additional testing for water hardness, nitrate and nitrite levels, fluoride, and heavy metals, such as iron, uranium, copper, and lead. Ask me for details about specific testing that’s right for your home.

MOLD TESTINGUnchecked mold indoors can damage the structure of a home, cause wood rot, and ruin drywall. Most importantly, mold can cause health problems. A professional mold test starts with a thorough inspection of your property. I will investigate any signs of past or present water intrusion, which can promote mold growth, and I can take samples of any suspected mold for laboratory analysis.

MY STANDARD HOME INSPECTION

I’ll inspect all of the visible and accessible systems and components of your home (or your home-to-be), from the foundation to the roof, inside and out.

I will also inspect outbuildings on your property, such as garages (attached or detached), decks, docks and boat houses for functionality and safety at no extra charge.

Following your inspection, I will compile my findings using HomeGauge inspection software, and I’ll email you a link to your online report the same day. Your report will include detailed descriptions and photos of any defects I discover. And my job isn’t finished until you understand everything in it.
