WHY WALLWISHER?

Wallwisher is a free interactive web 2.0 Tool

Wallwisher is a collaborative tool used for posting

anything you want –starts out as a blank page and

quickly gets filled in as students add ideas, opinions

and answers to questions

Wallwisher is user-friendly and convenient for

students and teachers to use

TEACHERS AND WALLWISHER

Wallwisher can be used to post announcements and the

agenda for the day

Teachers can use as an assessment tool to check for

understanding of a concept

Teachers can post the warm-up and closing on wallwisher

Allows for teachers to adapt instruction formatively in

response to students input

STUDENTS AND WALLWISHER

Students can be active learners by posting thoughts on a

common topic – this will encourage creativity and higher-

order thinking skills

as students “piggyback” off of each other’s ideas

Enables students to strengthen their summarizing skills as

they answer questions in a limited number of characters

Students can incorporate videos, audio, and images to

their interactive wall
