This event is definitely worth your attendance as it

has so many interesting cattle related sites.

It is truly Australia’s beef industry showcase event.

Ag Quip Field Days Gunnedah 2014 Ag Quip again drew large crowds and reinforced it-

self as the number one agricultural field day in Austra-

lia. The Murray Grey Breed Promotion site was well

supported with lunch goers and cattle producers look-

ing for bulls and females to compliment their herd.

The Olsson’s site enjoyed many visitors to view the

Wallawong cattle on display that had been prepared

using their Beef Mix and Cattle Tranz products.

Thank you to those who purchased Wallawong bulls

and females as a result of the field days.

2014 - Another Amazing Year! 2014 has seen the boys growing up fast, Stirling

(nearly 7yrs) has completed Year 1, while Fraser

(nearly 5yrs ) has completed pre school and is off to

Kindergarten this year at St Xaviers with Stirling. Both

are showing interest in the cattle, with Stirling compet-

ing at Tamworth Show, Dubbo Heifer Show and Up-

per Hunter Beef Bonanza during the year.

We moved into our new strawbale house on the farm

last July and it has made such a difference. We have

experienced some hot days and the house is perform-

ing well without air conditioning. Although the outside

and landscaping is still a ‘work in progress’ it is lovely

to look out on the cattle and (now green) paddocks.

If you are ever in the area or wish to plan a visit we

would be happy to show you our herd, sires with se-

men available, young bulls and talk Murray Greys

with you anytime.

All the best in 2015!

Lachlan, Kate, Stirling and Fraser James
