Sitting on my chair,Staring out the window,

Watching the falling snow,With some snow man,

Covering the Christmas tree,Watching alone in the night,

Of the Christmas eve.

I can’t see your shadow,I can’t see you,

I can’t see my gifts with him,Just now.

I heard he gives the gifts to all of us,

But never seen,I hope he knows me,One of the children,

In this town.

I won’t sleep on the Christmas eve,

Until he gives me the gift,Keeping it under his favourite

tree,Which is next to me.

May be,He may have frozen in the north

pole,Or takes longer to come to my

home,Or he may not know me,

Staying in this town.
