Home Reading The borrowing of home reader books from school has finished for the year. We still encourage students to read a book from home or from the library, but we ask that all school home readers are returned to school. Teachers have a record of books that students have borrowed and will be sending notes home with any students who have outstanding books.
School Hats As part of our school uniform students are required to wear a school hat. These are available for purchase from our school canteen, with two options available. Students can opt to wear the full brim school hat or the school cap, both of which cost $15 from the school canteen. Please ensure that hats are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
Phones at school As stated in our Primary Guidebook, mobile phones are banned from school. If there is a legitimate reason that a child must bring a mobile phone to school, it must be given to the classroom teacher at the beginning of the day and collected at the end of the day.
Aerosol cans at school Students have been reminded that they are not to bring aerosol cans to school. With the hot weather commencing, students may need to use antiperspirant deodorant throughout the day, however, this must be in roll on form.
