The cash comes from four previously unavailable sources: Retrofit Cost Reductions, Price Protection of your utility costs, Maintenance Cost Reductions, and from Tax Deductions provided under the recent Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008.


Price ProtectionEnergy costs are spiralling out of control! These costs have risen at an average of about 11% per year over the past five years. If history is a good indicator, this is a trend that is destined to continue. Price protection can stop this upward spiral! The W2 Group offers Price Protection of up to five years for your electricity costs. Rates will be locked at a competitive rate today and remain protected against increases for up to five years. This will save you thousands of dollars.

Maintenance Costs are reduced in a number of ways. First, new equipment costs less to maintain than aging equipment and the new products that we install come with warranties of up to five years. Second, our HVAC, power control and refrigeration retrofits are designed to allow these systems to run fewer hours. Lower run time not only means lower energy cost; it also means longer equip-ment life with fewer repairs and less down time. Warranties, longer equipment life and less down time contribute to your profit center.

Tax Deductionsare provided under the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act and Energy Improvement and Extension Act of 2008.

A Tax Deduction reduces your taxable income so that you pay less in taxes. As an example, a 35,000 square foot business would receive a $21,000 Tax Deduction.

Using a Federal 34% tax rate, that would mean contribution of $7,140 to the newly created profit center.

The W2 Group has found that opportunities to save significant energy is not only real, but also financially justifiable and achievable when also considering the significant tax recovery opportunities, future tax benefits, grants,& utility incentives.

Our clients have recovered 25- 40% of their wasted energy expenditures and reduced their carbon footprint in a similar fashion.

Warehouse Lighting

New technologies like T5 High Output and Induction Lighting are reducing warehouse lighting costs by 40 – 60%. Maintenance costs are also reduced as the life span is much longer with this technology. LED Products
