NOTA Club Hello! My name is Pam Seidl and I am the club leader for NOTA. Here is some basic info about our club:
Age Group: We have a mix of all ages from Cloverbuds to high school.
Current Number of Youth in Our Club: 15
When and Where We Meet: We meet the 2nd Monday of every month, except August, at 6:30 p.m. at the JP Coughlin Center in Oshkosh
Our Most Popular Project Areas: The majority of our members par cipate in the horse project. We also have members in the rabbit and dog projects. A large number of our members also par cipate in art and photography.
Social Ou ngs and Field Trips: We aim to do two community service projects a year and at least one "field trip" for educa onal purpos-es. We also bring "experts" into our mee ngs to give presenta ons rela ng to various 4H projects. For instance, we've had a photographer give a presenta on on what makes a great photo and we've also done a cake decora ng class.
Why I Think Our Club is Special: NOTA is a very youth-driven club. Our youth members organize, plan and run the mee ngs. They develop program and service ideas. We have a long tradi on of a holiday pot luck and gi exchange and summer "fair prep" party.
Are There Extra Fees Required to Join Our Club? Our club membership fee is $17.00, which includes the $10 (annual) Leaders’ Associa on Fee, The club covers the majority of other costs.
Other Informa on: We have one co-leader (Kim Iley). NOTA welcomes new members no ma er their age or 4H experience.
