How does BCMA work?
• BCMA allows users to electronically document medications at the bedside or other points-of-care.
• The Nurse can use a medication cart equipped with a laptop and a scanner.

• Bar code technology uses wireless radio frequency (RF) communications
• The patient’s wristband is scanned to identify the patient and each individual medication is scanned to assure it is the:
