VWR® VAPOUR-Line Lite can be used wherever you need it to be. The aluminium chamber is extremely light, making the unit totally portable but with a volume that is useful. Short programming instructions are printed on the front panel, in four languages.

In use the display shows set temperature, thermo probe temperature and sterilisation timing. The top cover has an analogue pressure gauge and safety valve preventing excess pressure build-up. The unit is thermally insulated to protect the user and laboratory surfaces, and has a safety thermostat which disconnects the power supply in case of over temperature. An AISI 304 stainless steel case also means the whole unit is easy to sanitise.

VAPOUR-Line eco autoclaves are produced from AISI 304 stainless steel and carry a ten year warranty against corrosion perforation. Internal surfaces are mirror finished grade for easy cleaning and sanitising.

Both models offer automatic and personal sterilisation cycles which are available for easy programming by the user. Short programming instructions, in four languages, are printed on the front panel.

Safe and comfortable to use

The thermo-insulated top cover protects the user from the hot surface and incorporates an automatic lock to ensure it cannot be opened when the contents are still hot. The “easy-lock” autoclave closure system is designed to be used with one hand without any effort and a vertical position lock ensures the lid cannot close accidently when loading.

AISI 304 stainless steel baskets are light and easy to handle and mean that the load can be split into two or three manageable lots.

The Data-Print printer is standard on VAPOUR-Line eco 50 and available as an option on VAPOUR-Line eco 25 for sterilisation cycle traceability.

The F0 function on VAPOUR-Line eco 50 model means that thermo sensitive products can be sterilised at lower temperature than 121 °C. IQ/OQ/PQ documentation is available on request.

VAPOUR-Line80 AND 135 LITRE CAPACITY VERTICAL AUTOCLAVES

VAPOUR-Line autoclaves are ideal for different laboratory applications, such as:

• Liquids in open or slightly closed vessels • Instruments and solids, unwrapped • Waste sterilisation • Waste sterilisation (easy to deodorise)

All models are equipped as standard with a flexible PT100 temperature sensor and thermal locking device according to IEC 61010-2-43 for liquid sterilisation. A motorised, automatic closing system ensures fast, reliable and secure locking and opening of the door.

Air cooling system

VAPOUR-Line 80M and 135M models are equipped with an effective air cooling system for liquid sterilisation. This speeds cooling time by up to 40% compared to standard models.

Steam generation

Quick and safeAll VAPOUR-Line 80 and 135 models generate steam directly in the chamber. Heating elements are situated under the base of the chamber so there is no contact between them and feed water, ensuring long element lifetime and preventing contamination of the elements by spilt waste, broken bottles or similar. The elements are protected from overheating by a temperature limiter.


Controller

VAPOUR-Line 80 and 135 are equipped with a microprocessor controller that offers: • 5 pre-programmed programmes

� 2 programmes for solids (121 °C, 134 °C) � 1 programme for waste sterilisation � 1 programme for liquids with standard cooling � 1 programme for liquids with fast cooling (M models only)

• Temperature and time parameters can be altered • Programmes can be renamed • Integrated timer function to start a programme at a pre-determined time

Baskets and solid bins

Optional process documentation printer.If no suitable drainage system in laboratory is available, VAPOUR-Line units can be equipped with a 20 l exhaust steam collecting tank.
