V.V.P. Engineering College - Civil Engineering Department has

organized an expert talk of Shree Mansukhbhai Suvagiya

(President - Jalkranti Trust) on success story of check dam and

awareness of health on 20.07.16

Expert talk begins with prayer which was sung by 5th semester

student Geveriya nikunj. Then Principal Dr. Sachin Parikh gave

welcome speech.

Shri Mansukhbhai Suvagiya share success stories of check dams. He

gave names of villages also and explain about jamka village where he

and villagers build 51 check dams and 3 reservoir only in 10 Lakhs.

This was the first attempt in our country that one villagers build this

numbers of check dams without any help of government. The main

thing is that persons which has no knowledge of any construction

technology has made this number of check dams. This miracle only

happened because of shri Mansukhbhai.

Shree Mansukhbhai Suvagiya also talk about health awareness.

At the end of seminar students get motivated and get valuable

suggestions for succeeding in life.
