Unrestricted Access

High Uptime

Less Maintenance

VTScada provides an integrated suite of easy to configure tools to allow you to

securely monitor and control your process from any anywhere, anytime.

The VTScada Internet Client (VIC)

Accessible for PCs, laptops and panel PCs, the VIC functionality is identical to a

full-installation Runtime license. All operational monitoring and control is

available, as is the capability to make security changes, run reports, view

historical data, and view and acknowledge alarms. Initiate client connections

from a desktop icon or a web link in any Windows browser. VICs have a variety of

uses including:

A Secure Remote Portal - Access your system from your home, a coffee shop, or

an internet cafe across the world. All you need is an online Windows computer.

A Flexible Workstation - Runtime functionality, industry-standard security, and

automatic failover make the VIC a hassle-free alternative to full-installations.

Get real-time updates, even on slow networks, with push technology. Push

technology updates clients as values change. The server compresses each push

to only include value changes for pages being displayed by clients. Configuration

changes or VTScada version upgrades automatically synchronize with each

connection.

The VTScada Mobile Internet Client (MIC)

Designed for HTML5-compliant browsers on mobile devices such as Android®,

iPhone®, and iPad®, the MIC allows you to easily manage your process with just a

touch or pinch. Easily switch between these mobile display formats:

Optimized Mobile Interface - We designed this tactile easy-to-read interface to

make the best use of even the smallest smart phone screens.

Full Display Graphics - VTScada 11 - See full-resolution views of any full display

page on demand. Pinch in on areas of interest. Tap tag-based elements to set

values, display tool tips, or plot historical data. Refresh pages on demand or at a

configurable refresh rate.

Configure In Seconds

Due to its tight integration with VTScada, thin client access can be configured in seconds. The VIC automatically translates all displays,

exactly as they appear on a full-installation client. No need for third-party server products like Apache® or Microsoft IIS®.

Simple Licensing

VICs and MICs are licensed by the number of concurrent users according to the tag count of the application. Thin client access can be

added to any existing VTScada licenses with an update to the software license key. Choose from single clients, value packs, and

unlimited licenses.

Uninterrupted Access

Like all VTScada services, automatic server failover is important to ensuring application reliability. In the event the primary VIC Server

becomes unavailable, VIC sessions seamlessly switch to the next designated backup server. Any of the application's servers can be

added to the server list so long as at least one of them has a VIC license. Note: The MIC need to be directed to the backup manually

(e.g. http://vtscada1.utilityname.com/realm to http://vtscada2. utilityname.com/realm).

Efficient Server Load Sharing

In applications with multiple Internet servers new thin client connections can be configured to automatically go to the server with the

fewest connections.

Monitor All Client Use

The VTScada Internet Client Monitor tool allows you to monitor active Internet clients. It permits logging of Client activity, messaging to

one (or all) user(s) and forcible disconnection for maintenance and security reasons.

Security

Manage remote access via application-level user account privileges. Runtime security changes are immediate and system-wide.

Military-grade Encryption - Secure Socket Layer (SSL) support protects security data exchanged between thin clients and servers. The

VIC also supports industry-standard Internet security features including firewalls, VPN connections, and Transport Layer Security (TLS).
