OPEN INNOVATION

VSHAPER Open Innovation is an idea that fits in the most important trends of the contemporary economy. It is based not only on the search for new ideas related to additive manufacturing technology, but above all, on the involvement of industry representatives in creating solutions that will actually affect the development of their production processes.

The conceptual work on the 5-Axis Machine continues, but we have decided to present its effects so that potential customers are included in the technology development process. We strive for the machine, that will become available to purchase in 2019, to meet the expectations of demanding production companies.

JOIN THE EXPERTSAND SHAPE THE FUTURE OF 3D PRINTINGTECHNOLOGY TODAY!

As part of the VSHAPER Open Innovation program, we cooperate with leading production companies interested in the development and implementation of 5-axis 3D Printing technology, which we present-ed for the first time at the FORMNEXT 2017 fair in Frankfurt - one of Europe’s most important events dedicated to additive technologies.

VSHAPER 5-AXISMACHINE TODAYTransforms the way people think about 3D Printing. Thanks to 5-axis kinematics equipped with tilting rotary working platform – one can forget about the conventional layer-by-layer printing method.

VSHAPER 5-Axis Machine features active workspace in the shape of a cylinder with a 300 mm diameter and a 300 mm height. The machine is equipped with a tool store allowing the use of few different heads in one printing process. Thanks to constant temperature inside the working chamber and heated platform, the printer can process most thermoplastic materials.

Indexed 5-axis printing, enhancing the conventional layer-by-layer printing method with the ability to transfer the print plane to another surface that was printed earlier.

Simultaneous 5-axis printing that moves away from the conventional layer-by-layer printing method and allows creating spatial models on a three-dimensional surface, by using all the machine axes simultaneously.

Working with multiple materials in one process, making it possible to create models from hardmaterial, reinforced with high-strength material and printed elastomeric seals.
