24p input acceptable

Basically, film sources is all 24 frames per second from imaging to authoring. And new BD-Rom standard is decided to output 24p. So that means 24p signal from input to output. Thus VPL-VW50 can accept the strong request by 24p signal input from the almost film studio, Hollywood, enthusiasts, and reviewers.

Superb Low Fan Noise “22dB”

Optimization of air flow> The Air flow is optimized due to simulation. VPL-VW50 is considered the importance of optical unit and air flow from many different viewpoints like Q004 and VPL-VW100. So VPL-VW50 adopts the In-line architecture and achieve low fan noise 22dB in spite of the 200 wattage lamp. And also VPL-VW50 adopt the “front exhaust” so that it puts in the shelf and installs against a wall.

VPL-VW50 is designed suitable for Home Theater environment. VPL-VW50’s glossy & clear white cabinet is suitable for almost ceiling / floor of house.VPL-VW50 is considered the importance of optical unit and air flow from many different viewpoints like Q004 and VPL-VW100. So VPL-VW50 adopts the In-line architecture and achieve low fan noise 22dB in spite of the 200 wattage lamp. And thanks to these efficient air flow and compact body, VPL-VW50 is greatly expanding the setting place of the projector as this product can project to place on the shelf.


Addition of Blanking Control

This feature allows you to adjust the displayable region within the four directions of the screen. Select each screen edge “left / right / up / bottom” on the Blanking adjustment screen with / buttons. Adjust the desired Blanking value with / button.


Lens Shift (Flexible Setting)

The "Lens Shift" function can adjust the picture position both vertically and slightly horizontally.

VPL-VW50 expands the area to place the projector. There isn’t ‘Picture Degradation’ because of avoiding electrical processing involved in digital keystone.
