Voyage Travels was started in the month of August, 1997 and given registration in India in 2002under Indian Partnership Act 1932. Over the years voyage Travels has emerged as a leading tour

operator in Indian Himalayas. Our link ups with dedicated special tour itinerary, authentic

information, quality equipments and certified & professional staff have enabled us to provide

quality service that has been well appreciated by our clients over the years. We believe in

commitment for client's safety and value for money services. All operations are conducted and

managed by experienced mountain guides and mountaineers.

History of Voyage TravelEstablished in 1997

A group of dedicated, adventurous employees wanted to promote and sell the type of travel

that they loved to do themselves and were passionate about. Over the years our passion for this

kind of travel has been contagious and it is the foundation forVoyage Travel Company.

The history of our Mumbai office goes back to 1997. Before we six travel enthusiasts (Keshav

Sone, Prakash Patel, Sourabh Shroff, Jigar Patel, Gaurav Agarwal and Viniyak Menon) joined with

Travel CUTS to become Voyage Travel Company, we were specialized in arranging adventure

trips to Sahyadri for school and college students.

In the year 2002, Voyage Travels was registered in India, and in the year 2005 we got associated

with our sister companies Nice Travels in Canada and Wise Travels in USA that promote inbound

travels in india.

In the running course of our business we got associated and linked up with various other

About Us

Voyage Adventure Tours and Travels have a minimum paid up capital (capital employed) of Rs.

3.00 lakhs. The Annual turnover in term of Indian rupees by the firm from Adventure Tourism

related activities is Rs.10.00 lakhs.

Voyage Adventure Tours and Travels has office Located in Mumbai (Saki Naka, Andheri E) with an

area of 250 sq. ft. The office is located in neat and clean surroundings and equipped with

telephone, fax and computer reservation system etc. It has sufficient space for reception andeasy access to toilets.

We have our own Adventure equipment as well as specialized trained staff. The Voyage

Adventure Tours and Travels have experienced and well qualified executive staff under its direct

employment.

The field staff members of the party are qualified for the activity and have minimum of five

years of practical experience. The staff member are all certified from the specialized

organizations like IMF (for Mountaineering/trekking) & NIWS Goa (for Water Sports etc.).

Field members of the company are qualified in First-aid/C.P.R by Red Cross.

We have signed an undertaking for adherence to sustainable ecological practice and protection

of environment in keeping with guidelines for eco-tourism and safety and security guidelines of

Adventure Tour Operator Association of India.

departments interdependently in a cross functional way. Every partner has unlimited liabilities to discharge.

Mount Baljuri

(5922m) Not much technical peak but still upper portion requires fixed rope and walking with crampons.

Weather plays most important role in this climb as this region is prone to get long stretches of bad weather. This

is good climb which is having mixture of a good himalayan trekking in Uttarkhand/ Uttarakhand himalayas.

Friendship Peak

(5289m) -Not a walkable peak and requires knowledge of technical climbing . Provides great views of Pir-Panjal &

Dhauladhar range of Himachal Pradesh

Mount Ladakhi

(5345m) Not a walkable peak and couple of sections requires experience of technical climbing gear. This climb

also provides details of Mount Shiker-Beh and Makar-Beh. Fascinating views of Pir Panjal and Dhauadhar range in

Himachal Pradesh

Stok Kangri

(6153m) - A walkable peak where no climbing gear is required after July. Not everyone is successful here as

acclimatization plays important role in Ladakh Himalayas.

Hanuman Tibba (5932m ) A expedition style peak which requires good understanding of climbing and living in

high altitude. Besides a long trekking to Beas Kund and then crossing over steep TENTU PASS to establishing ABC-

this is not a walkable peak and requires experience of using technical climbing gear.

Seven Sisters(4500m) - Making one BC and attempting summits. These peaks are best climbing opportunity for beginners .

VoyageAdventure Tours And Travels as a Retail Travel Agency:

Voyage Travel agency sells tourist products directly to the public on behalf of the product suppliers and in return

gets commission. Some package tours are sold in two ways i.e. on commission basis and mark-up price. When a

travel agency sells a tour on marked up price it means that first it mark up the cost of tour and then sell it in

higher rate. The mark up price is the difference between retail price and wholesale cost.

Our main revenue is generated through the commission received from vendors. However, the rate of

commission differs from organization to organization and travel component to travel component.

An inbound tour operator is the one that makes travel arrangements for arriving tourists from foreign tourists.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We are Voyage Travels, Mumbai based operation, who with our sister companies, Nice Travels

and Wise Travels located in Canada and USA respectively, offer a wide range of the best

excursions and activities available. Our priorities are the adventure tour with safety of our

clients, with a strong emphasis on service. Groups and individuals are welcome. Itineraries can

be customized to suit. Our office is open 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. We are

closed only one day a year, 15th August, when we celebrate Indian Independence.

Guides

All guides are licensed. They are well-versed in English and Local Languages. These are

knowledgeable individuals who will enhance your experience with their enthusiasm.

Payment Policy

Deposits

A deposit of US$100.00 is required on all services requested, within 14 days of the date of that

request. Payment of the balance should be cleared not later than 30 days before the client's

arrival date.

Groups will be required to deposit 25% on receipt of confirmation. A further 25% deposit will be

due no later than 60 days prior to the arrival date. The balance in full will be due 30 days prior to

the arrival date.

Cancellation, changes & Refunds

All requests for changes or cancellations must be in writing. Up to two changes will be processed

at no extra charge. For each subsequent change, there will be a US$10.00 fee. Cancellations will

be refunded as follows:

More than 30 days prior to arrival - Full refund

15 - 29 days prior to arrival - 50% refund

0 - 14 days prior to arrival - No refund

No shows will be charged full amount of total bill.

Group cancellations must be in writing. Cancellations received more than 90 days prior to arrivaldate will be charge US$100.00 plus any charges from any airline, ground operator, hotel or other

vendor for that cancellation. For cancellations received less than 90 days and more than 45 days

prior to the arrival date, a fee of US$500.00, plus any of the afore-mentioned penalties will be

charged. For cancellations occurring less than 45 days prior to the arrival date will be dealt with

on an individual basis.

Currency andCredit Cards

The exchange rate for the U.S. Dollar is fixed at Indian Rs. 50.00 for US$1.00. U.S currency isaccepted just about everywhere, so it unnecessary to exchange money. Master Card & Visa are

the most commonly accepted credit cards. American Express and Discovery to a lesser degree.

Documentation

A valid passport is required for travelers entering India. Visitors from most other countries

require visas.

Responsibility & ConditionsVoyage Adventure Tours & Travel has limited responsibility and acts only as an agent for the

passengers in regards to travel whether by motor coach, private car, boat, aircraft or any other

conveyance. Voyage Adventure Tours & Travel cannot accept liability or responsibility for injury,

damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by acts of God, fire,

breakdown of machinery, acts of government or other authorities, de jure or de facto wars

whether declared or not, hostilities, civil unrest, strikes, riots, pilferage, epidemics, customs

regulations or any other incident. Voyage Adventure Tours & Travel cannot accept responsibility

for any loss or damage resulting from incorrect documents or additional expenses due to delayor changes of schedules or other causes. The right is reserved to decline any passenger should

such a person's health or general demeanor impede the operation of the services to the

detriment of other passengers. Voyage Adventure Tours & Travel reserves the right to cancel or

re-schedule an itinerary as may be deemed necessary for the carrying out of the tour or

package, either before departure or en route. Baggage is carried at the passengers own risk. The

acceptance of tickets and vouchers shall be deemed to be the passengers consent to the above

conditions.
