    VFC 116DANCE VS ELLIS

Vortex Fighting Championship 116: Ellis vs. Dance featured a non-title welterweight match-upbetween VFC Legend Anthony Ellis and Journeyman Bill Dance. On paper it looked like an evenmatch-up, but Dance got the better of the champion and pulled out a unanimous decision. Thismatch-up proved to be bad for the VFC as its #1 fighter lost to a fighter who well probably never seeagain. This opens the door for welterweight challengers that now know that Ellis has a chink in hisarmor. The card put up a 152 rating which is good but not great by VFC standards.

The PWNAGE Performance of the Night honor for VFC 116 is going to Trent Chapel. The LA nativebrought the noise and worked over his opponent Bart Griffin in their middleweight undercard fightChapel was clearly the superior striker and dropped his foe once before hurting him bad with adevastating right hook.

As part of the honor, PWNAGE Clothing will be selling a Trent Chapel signature shirt series on May1s

to commemorate his achievement. Each PWNAGE Performance of the Night winner will receive thesame honor and all shirts are only $19.50 each.

    VFC 117THOMAS VS PLAY

Vortex Fighting Championship 117: Thomas vs. Play featured fight between welterweight contenders DocThomas and Foul Play. The fighters were heading in different directions as Thomas had won his two previousfights and Play had lost his two previous fights. Play proved to be the more aggressive fighter in this bout andwalked away with a unanimous decision in a fight that never went to the ground. Overall, the card was weak byVFC standards, but Middleweight Ian Topps destroyed the event when he was put on a no-fly list and didnt

make it to the fight in time. This is the 2nd time in his last 3 fights that he skipped his scheduled match-upUnless he has a great excuse, I would expect to see him released by the end of the month. VFC 117 put up ameager 111 rating.

The PWNAGE Performance of the Night honor for VFC 114 is going to Heavyweight Alistair Overeem. TheDemolition Man was able to destroy his opponent Buck Jones in short time. We all knew that Overeem wastalented, but he must have gained some real motivation from his previous loss. In fact, it took Overeem longerto walk to the ring than it took for him to TKO his opponent. It looked as though he was breathing smoke duringthe face off at the center of the ring, and then he came out with heavy kicks that could cut down oak trees.Overeem got his brutal finish in 15 seconds and hes back on the path to a title shot.

As part of the honor, PWNAGE Clothing will be selling an Alistair Overeem signature shirt series on May 1st to

commemorate his achievement. Each PWNAGE Performance of the Night winner will receive the same honoand all shirts are only $19.50 each.

    VFC 118ERICSONNL VS KICE II

Vortex Fighting Championship 117: Ericsonnl vs. Kice II featured the rematch between formerHeavyweight Champion Leif Ericsonnl and top-5 contender Slimbo Kice. This was a marquee match-up between two of the best strikers in the VFC. Ericsonnl won the first fight by TKO and continued inthat tradition by winning by KO in the first round. Even though there was no title fight, the evening

presented a great night of fights earning a stellar 160 rating and boosting VFC back to #1 in NewYork.

The PWNAGE Performance of the Night honor for VFC 117 is also going to Lief Eric the RedEricsonnl. In his main event bout vs. Legend Killer Slimbo Kice, Ericsonnl scored another legendaryknockout. Both men came out of the gates swinging for the fences. Ericsonnl proved to be just toofast as he dodged every punch sent his way. About 40 seconds in to the first round, Ericsonnl landeda solid counter punch and followed it up with a matching cross and uppercut that ruined hisopponents night. Eric the Red crushed his enemy; saw him driven before him, and heard thelamentation of the women.

As part of the honor, PWNAGE Clothing will be selling a Lief Ericsonnl signature shorts design onMay 1st to commemorate his achievement. Each PWNAGE Performance of the Night winner wilreceive the same honor and all shirts are only $19.50 each.

    VFC 120JENKINS VS WREAVER

Vortex Fighting Championship 120: Jenkins vs Wreaver featured a double main event. In thefirst match up, Leroy Jenkins faced Marc Wreaver in what should have been a Heavyweighttitle fight. For some reason, the title was not on the line, but Jenkins still managed to get thebest of Wreaver in the opening seconds of the 5th Round. That fight was a real war. Thesecond main event featured the former middleweight champion Jack Kerns against AlexanderAsturiem. Kerns took the fight to the clinch and just overpowered Asturiem on his way to asecond round TKO stoppage. Victim to yet another No Contest, the card put up a 155 rating, but should been one of the top ten VFC cards of all time. If you see that no-show ConnorMcLeod sometime before his next fight, please give him a tiger uppercut to the nutsack.

The PWNAGE Performance of the Night honor for VFC 120 is going to Joe OBrien. He wasthe less experienced fighter in his match up with fellow middleweight Jackson Lake, but he stillturned on the pressure. OBrien bloodied and beat up his opponent before land a one punchknockout from a devastated right hook midway through the first round. OBrien left the cagewithout taking a single punch and he is back on the road to the title.

The 1st round of the LHW Tournament for the Title is over. We saw six great LHW battle today in thetournament.

Brass Knuckles was impressive in victory, as the number one seed over Ryan Ballinger with a 1st round KO.

Randjob Gracie pulled off an upset against the experienced and well-seasoned Klein East, who was a slightfavorite in this battle that saw Gracie win the UD. (Please forgive the typo above. It states that the fightersname is Rio Gracie, but his name is actually Randjob Gracie. It is pronounced handjob gracie.)

Joe Atkins also picked up a win as a slight underdog against the always formidable Drandt Bavis by way ofrear naked choke in round one.

In yet another upset, Junior Felix triumphed over Bob Barker via UD in impressive fashion.

Matt Still managed to submit Rick Vaughn in round 2 via armbar, after winning the first round.

Max Dilian pulled off a huge upset by way of split decision over big favorite and perrenial top contender LiamMinard. This fight could've gone either way, two out of the three judges gave it to Dilian.

This sets up the 2nd round fights which will be sent out in a few days. The updated tournament bracket will besent out at that time as well. Good luck to the fighters moving on in the tournament, and thanks to everyoneparticipating

    THE BAHAMAS EPIDEMIC

Once a haven for pirates, smugglers and bootleggers, the islands of The Bahamas are a retreat offine white sand, subtle coral coloured beaches, lush tropical scenery, crystal clear waters and year-round sunshine having an average year round temperature of 31c. There are over 700 pretty islandscovering a 100,000 square mile area of the Atlantic ocean. Providence, Paradise Island and GrandBahama Island are marvellous resorts, offering every conceivable sport and recreational facility, worldclass snorkelling, diving and a varied program of evening entertainment and activities. Visitors spendlazy days and crazy nights or simply do nothing at all but relax on one of the soft powder white sandybeaches watching the ever changing hues of the clear turquoise sea. However, the future of the

Bahamas is in question as new problem infests its beaches; Retired Fighters.

What Are Retired Fighters?Retired Fighters are MMA Tycoon rejected fighters that proved to be undesirable to their managers. They have no jobs, no life skills, and most of them look like that dude from Mask (not the one with JimCarrey). Although Retired Fighters are usually under the age of 30, many of them have gotten out ofshape since their days in the cage. They eat, they drink, and they smoke themselves into uselesshuman trash. Retired Fighters have little savings and once they settle they are grounded and stay inthe same place forever.

Why the Bahamas?Hot bitches in bikinis? Duty free alcohol? The filiming of the Pirates of the Caribbean part 8: Piratesvs. Topless Ninjas? Who freaking knows?! But one thing is clear, these turds travel from all over theword to those beautiful beaches and they are there for good . At first they just come for vacationUnderstandibly, they need to cope with the concept that their careers are over and they shouldcommit virtual suicide. However, for some reason, none of the Retired Fighters seem to feel the need

to return home. Some gets jobs renting jet skis or selling sunglasses at the beach, but most of themdont do a god damn thing but sit around and look ugly.

How bad is the problem? There are literally thousands of retired fighters on the streets of the Bajamas today and the problem isonly getting worse. Each month hundreds more land here and make this place their home. Worse yetthey are starting to gather in small communities of douchebaggery breeding a culture of protein-shake-fueled meat-heads that wear bedazzled t-shirts and go to dance clubs to pick fights to masktheir own insecurities. What Im trying to say is that its really fing bad people. Retired fighters are aplague that the Bajamas has to deal with. I recommend putting poison in the Red Bull. That aught totake out a big portion of their population.
